I reckon they’ll go something like below for the next test: Burns Sibley Bairstow Root Stokes Pope Foakes Bess Leach Broad Anderson unless they bring someone like Curran or Woakes in for Lawrence... but that makes the batting pretty weak with either of those at number 7.

Archer’s First Class batting record isn’t too bad. He looks like a genuine number 11 so far though. I think that’s why they were so desperate to play Bess in the summer v Pakistan and West Indies otherwise you’d end up with Archer or Leach at number 8.

As our game v Torquay is off, we now only have 3 spare midweeks until the end of the season with 2 matches to rearrange. Next midweek available is 20th April. How are Dover gonna fit in their fixtures given they’ve only played 15 so far?

Slough were DESPERATE to get the playoffs done last season, even setting up a go fund me. Now they’re near the relegation zone they’re flat out refusing to play. I wonder why?

Is there actually any incentive for Dover to play at the moment? They’re getting dicked every week and the less games played the more likely a null and void. seems a bit convenient they’ve only played 10 matches.
