What an awful boring draw for us.

I actually thought both teams did the best they could in those conditions and it was far from a poor match. Also, the crowd today was higher than it was for the equivalent fixture in 18/19 and 19/20 (and 20/21!). Great double save by our keeper at the end and Halifax look a decent side.

Our contest with Halifax has been absorbing and evenly matched. Either side could still win it.

It would have been funny to see Pompey traipse around the Wessex League and take several thousand fans to a fenced off field in the New Forest or the Hampshire Downs.

We took 4000 to Fisher Athletic in 1991. Just sayin’.

Weymouth - 6 Neat and tidy in possession with Mussa a standout in midfield but they lack a bit of quality up front and they panicked defensively when we pressed them a bit.

That looks a poor attendance for Hereford!

I didn’t go to the Eastleigh match so can’t compare Weymouth to them but they were definitely well below Dagenham and Notts County. I do think if we are able to find an athletic, energetic DCM we’ll be alright. We’ve got an easier run of matches now, so hopefully this win won’t stand in splendid...
