I can see Hartlepool being really up for this having lost their first game. If we play like we did at home for most of last season, we'll almost certainly lose, but I hope we can get something out of the game.

Difficult first game away at a rejuvenated Wrexham. I think we'll lose but anything else would be a positive result, and a defeat would not necessarily be indicative of a poor season to come.

He'll play 4-5-1 with Koby Arthur in a number 10 role I think - definitely for the first five games which are hard on paper.

I wouldn't describe Halls as bad. I think he would be ok if he played alongside decent defenders. McCombe is a spent force though and the lack of pace (and quality) in that back four could be exposed pretty early on if they play against a team with fast and intelligent strikers. Looking at it...
