We were crap again. Port vale slightly less crap than the other crap teams we’ve played so far this season. But no team has been as crap as us yet that I’ve seen. Apart from Bolton who were really, really crap. As you can tell, it’s another enjoyable season watching Latics.

Ours are shocking in terms of away games. Barrow and Harrogate both Tuesdays and Bolton and Salford both in October. Add to that both Bolton and Tranmere at home are Tuesdays too.

I wish I could agree that we’re safe but I don’t think we’re out of the woods yet. We’ve just had our easy run of fixtures and ballsed it up so the next few weeks could have us right back in it. Hopefully Rowe alone should be enough but I’m sure Dangerous Dino will find a way to stop him scoring.
