Not a holiday, but off to Manchester for the day on Monday. All previous trips have been purely Alcohol and sport related so looking to see a bit of the city - any 'must-do' attractions? Also any tips on places to eat?

Tinder Thread 2, Back in Action

Arranged to meet a girl this weekend as we got talking and she seems to be nice enough. Sent a screenshot of the start of the conversation (she said she was going to swipe left but for my Courteeners T-shirt in one) to my two best mates. Unbeknownst to me I've sort of met this girl before. I was...

As if it couldn't get any worse for her.... Derby is a decent place, the nightlife is surprisingly good on my sample of a whole one night out that started in Rescue Rooms until someone we met suggested we go for a night out in Derby....How I made my 9am the next day I'll never know, painful on...

Places and Attractions on your Shortlist

Forgot to add Sarajevo to my initial list, which I'm ticking off next month. Hopefully get to the Tunnel museum, walking down Sniper Alley will be a bit surreal, I imagine.

My god I love Belgrade, yet another return has been booked. So happy Zvezda won again. Podgorica, as warned, was a dump. Not a fan of Budapest. Anyway, myself and Joe. have now got Sarajevo at the end of April for their derby, with Belgrade either side. Longshot, but has anyone been to Sarajevo...

Places and Attractions on your Shortlist

I've stood on the border of the neutralised zone, overlooking famagusta. I want to do Kosovo in the next 12 months. Problem is I still have a bit more I want to do in Serbia, and I don't know whether they have got as relaxed about people having been to Kosovo as I've been reading. As of next...

Katowice isn't that bad, should see chorzow. Only an hour from Krakow as well. Going to Poznan next month. Has anyone been to Podgorica, and is it as bad as everyone makes out? Going there next week before getting the train to Belgrade. Also for said trip, any hostel recommendations in Budapest?

I want to complete europe now. Done 55% of it, closest two countries left are Portugal (easy enough) and Norway (mate was talking about doing it last night). Then the next closest, I think, is somewhere like Belarus/Iceland...

Brno was awesome. Beautiful city, good company and amazing people. Really glad we decided to go. Going to Ljubljana in 2 weeks with a mate of mine at uni, which should be good as it looks a stunning city.

    Things We Hate

Haha, we're off to Montenegro in March funnily enough! How we ended up there is a bit weird. There's 7 of us that travel all over together now, but it started because a mutual friend of ours was trying to organise a big trip, initially I think we were going to the Ukraine (Am I right here...

As Joe. will agree - Ohrid, Skopje and Macedonia are the best places on earth. One of our friends (and to an extent, me) are serious when we say, one day we will live in Ohrid. Enjoy, spectacular place. Amazing people. Cheap alcohol.

Booked up the first leg of our summer trip. Doing Poland - Georgia - Armenia. Then some are flying to Istanbul, but I'm swaying towards doing Greece - Albania - Macedonia by myself....Anyway. Anyone been to Georgia/Armenia and got any advice on what to expect?

What are your highlights of 2015?

Dropped out of Uni. Got a job. Reapplied to Uni. Travelled to a load of places. Met Joe. Went to The Belgrade derby. Drunk too much. Good year that.

No, lands late in the evening, but is fine by me as I want a cheap(ish) trip just so I can tick off Ireland at last and then get some of the sights out of the way as I have a feeling a big group of us will do a trip eventually as the flights are always dirt cheap from EMA. And I'd rather miss a...
