Just seen that he's apparently told Bury fans on instagram that he's coming to Oldham. If so, I bet distance has played a part in the decision.

Yep, he'll be on a very good wage, definitely not bothered about being at a glamour club or anything. I've met him a couple of times around Bolton, incredibly down to earth and good to talk to.

I really liked him. Similarly to Rob Hunt, we thought we'd pulled off an incredible signing when we made his loan permanent, but he didn't progress a lot from being a kid. Fine player though, another that suddenly became out of favour, possibly due to our owner deciding he didn't like him...

Nah, it's gonna properly hit the fan with the owner this season, you can tell. Frankly I'm surprised we did as well as we did last season, I give credit to the man management skills of Frankie Bunn and Pete Wild for that, along with the captaining ability of Peter Clarke.
