Ha, regardless of a club's size or history as soon as they enter this fantastic league they become tinpot. But in all seriousness I think Tranmere's quality did show on Saturday and without a doubt you'll be up there come the end of the season.

Must admit as well the Tranmere forum made for good reading, not winning at "a place like Torquay" or putting 5 past us seems to be end of the world for some supporters. I don't think we'll be turning heads this season but I'd like to think we have a lot more bottle and experience than we've had...

Did say a point before hand would be a good result, but disappointing to not score late on when they were down to 9.

Weird one, probably the most optimistic I've been going into a season since we've been back in the conference (very quiet optimism anyway). But playing last years play off finalists isn't the easiest first game either, so would take a draw from this.

Having James Hurst the other year start on someone in town, and Zebroski years before, I'm sure he'll fit in just fine.
