    Cheltenham v Luton

Its not an odd thing to say if you're the manager of a league two club with a we're a big club so therefore I'm a big manager syndrome.

    Cheltenham v Luton

was the comment about celebrating like it was their cup final aimed as his own players when they scored the 2nd?

    Cheltenham v Luton

Depends which Cheltenham turn up? if its the Cheltenham that beat Swindon, Lincoln, Colchester, Mansfield and drew with Accrington and Wycombe then expect a tough game. If its the Cheltenham that lost 2-4 to Maidstone in the most inept performances I've ever seen then this game will do wonders...

    Is Football Entertainment?

Don't think you watch league two football to be entertained, I would like to think most lower league fans have pride in their town / city etc and follow their team as a extension of that pride. The 'entertainment' factor is an idea created by the money men so something can be packaged and sold...

Chairboys vs Weak Forum Presence Utd (CTFC)

Still massive concerns about our defence, nine goals conceded in the last four games and watching the highlights I can see why, basic errors and not tight enough, Akinfenwe just stood unmarked in the area and horrendous clearances. Good job we have goals in the team.

Graham will be our top scorer this season

Pell on the bench, unchanged from last week. No Atangana on the bench which is a concern

Chairboys vs Weak Forum Presence Utd (CTFC)

Last seasons fixture was a cracker, six goals, two pens, one sending off, 11 minutes of extra time and Town nearly won it at the death. Cheltenham looked stable(er) against Lincoln to grind out a 1-0 win, not much flair but the weather didn't help. The defence held firm after conceding six in...

L2 Matchday Threads - A Catalogue of Failure

Yep, there was a drop off of 'support' when things turned sour last season, all those new 'championship' faces disappeared. These were the ones predicting a back to back promotion and giving it most of the mouth even on our own forum, they've gone as well. Gloucester (rugby) are doing well (at...

L2 Matchday Threads - A Catalogue of Failure

I think there's only two (inc me) CTFC fans that post on here, there were more when we were in the Vanarama. I've made supporters aware of this forum on our own forum but they don't seem too bothered about making the switch. I don't think they realise you can post on both :2thumb:

    Cheltenham vs Lincoln

We need to stop the rot, I'd take a draw and solid defence performance. 0-0

Will the run continue....? CTFC vs GTFC

I've got funny feeling Cheltenham's hoodo may come unstuck this evening. Cheltenham were bossed by Port Vale on Saturday, hopefully not knocking the confidence that saw them go five unbeaten. I can see us being cautious but don't want that to turn into complete meltdown if we go behind.

The Robins Derby (Cheltenham v Swindon)

I think a draw would have been a fair result (just) but with the amount of free kicks that both teams were giving away just outside the area then it could have been Swindon taking three at the death.

The Robins Derby (Cheltenham v Swindon)

Not seen this much confidence in a CTFC side since the conference winning season, Swindon will prove a tough test though and not easy to break down so hope we don't get frustrated. I'd take a draw tbh and keep the unbeaten run going. 1-1

    FAO Mansfield fans

Are you embarrassed by Steve Evans behaviour? Surely the novelty of his actions are starting to wear thin.

    Cheltenham Town v Colchester Utd

GJ's under pressure, six strikers and still we can't score, a goal for anywhere would be nice. Can only hope for Colchester's bad away form to continue. 1-1

    Mo Eisa and Jerell Sellars

    The CTFC Derby

I thought the ref did well in the first half let the game flow and was pretty low key, he was more concerned with being the players mate.
