We were in the play offs a couple of months ago... However, this really is pretty dire, if not rather predictable. Beadle was never a good appointment, plus we did not have a squad in place for even half a pre-season and we are paying the price now. It’s hard to see Beadle surviving this...

Weymouth offered absolutely nothing and despite us missing a couple of glaring chances, a very comfortable win. Vasilou’s miss in particular was really quite spectacular and well worth a watch. Without major improvement, Weymouth look a shoe in for relegation on that performance.

4-2 We have completely run out of steam. Deserved win for Notts but we showed some character at least to avoid a landslide defeat.

Our fitness is still a massive issue. We’ve not done too bad in the second half. Once we get match fit, we might at least be competitive this season.

Football’s a funny old game. 3-0 down after 20 minutes, could easily have been more. And yet Notts now trying to hold the ball in the corner with more than 5 minutes left.
