Cheltenham are safe - especially when you beat Oxford for us :-)

    Tues 18th/Sat 22nd fixtures

Lino appears to be on Wycombe’s payroll (or Oxford, or MK Dons!) Second goal was yards offside. Mind you, we deserve to be behind after failing to slot three one-on-ones and not defending their free kick for the first.

We’ve had two official apologies from the FA this season - it seems to be a new transparency thing (I don’t recall ever hearing of such a thing before). I guess acknowledging manifest cock-ups is good on balance…

I'm not sure why an Oxford fan is worrying about Accrington… I reckon our chances of staying up are 50/50…

We were really excellent today - well-deserved win and it could have been by more… we are on a roll…

Having to say that is enough to make anyone a little sick in their own mouth... I just hope Bolton respond to last week's poor performance and raise their game today!

Even more riding on the Cambridgeshire derby ('Der Fennico'?) - at least the Grecians are safe, while both teams have major skin in the game at the Abbey. I'm hoping the Just Stop Oil lot, who are protesting today apparently, don't try to interfere with the football traffic - it may end badly...

    Good Friday/Easter Monday games

Cambridge the better team first half at the Reebok; i doubt we can keep this up, and Bolton players will get a rollicking from Evatt. I fear the second half will be somewhat different…

    Good Friday/Easter Monday games

Not surprisingly, interest in travelling has increased with two wins on the spin - usually you can buy until 24 hours before and often on the day, so the early cut-off has come as a bit of a surprise Family days are great things - always good to bring new fans into any club; ours often end in...

    Good Friday/Easter Monday games

Well Masi, all I can say is I really hope we can piss on your Trophy parade today - your family day means we have quite a few fans unable to get tickets so our away following will be smaller than it would otherwise have been No animosity for Bolton but we REALLY need some points today...

    The Relegation Thread

The relegation line looks pretty certain to be somewhere between 43 and 48 points; if it's 43 or 44 you are already safe, and even if it's 48 (which is highly unlikely) you just need three draws or one win to get there... You are pretty much safe.

    Good Friday/Easter Monday games

C'mon Vale, you know Saturday wasn't good enough, so full effort against Accrington and Oxford please!! ;-)

    Good Friday/Easter Monday games

If Fleetwood could roll over on Good Friday we would be obliged, ta very much... away at Bolton on Easter Monday is a real toughy. Four points from the two is my idea of dreamland - it would put us back in touch with the relegation rivals...

    The Relegation Thread

Well you have a point on the ‘should have been a pen’ but, sorry, your lad was clearly offside - you’re being fooled by the angle of those photos but the grass lines give it away. Not that it makes any difference - if we have half an hour each game where we play so badly it looks like it’s...

    The Relegation Thread

I was sat bang in line and he was off - Lino was behind play and fooled by your lad’s speed. I’ll give you that two yards was an exaggeration… And I agree, once that goal went in we were utterly awful for thirty minutes - barely regional league standard. Second half at least we gave it a go…

    The Relegation Thread

We are definitely gone - not only are we really struggling, but our luck is totally out. First goal today was clearly offside, their second was a carbon copy of the one we scored but was disallowed last week at MK Dons, but was (rightly) allowed - that’s two points the officials have cost us in...

What we want is three points from the final match against FGR sealing Cambridge’s 2023 great escape! Can’t see it personally, but (slightly) stranger things have happened…

Can’t understand how we lost that. Well I can, because we could (and probably will) play all month and still not score a f’ing goal…

    Tues 28 Feb/Sat 4 March

Playing really well against Pompey and would be well ahead but for our usual problem - we can't f'ing score.... I'm sure Portsmouth will be better second half; we'll regret not taking those good chances.
