Just watched the extended video highlights, rarely seen defending as bad as for our second. Two Carlisle defenders just fled the scene as Norman carried the ball into the box. It was like the parting of the Red Sea.

We are indeed down to the bare bones and I'd also take a point at Carlisle. Not sure we'll have seven on the bench, but somehow that's preferable to still having a whole load of journeymen on the books for this eventuality who don't then contribute when they are called on.

That's actually not a bad situation to be in - six months' grace with no threat of relegation and realistically only a limited prospect of promotion.
