    National League Fixtures 12/9/2017

We are without Jennings tonight - who has managed 5 yellows in 9 games - most of which are for dissent. Add to that Hurst's injury, and the back 4 which has had a run of clean sheets is likely to have an unfamiliar look - the likely scenario is Roberts back in at Rb Pearson Manny and Carrington...

    Torquay in crisis?

Wilkin's recruitment in fairness was good - players like Moult, Manny and Connor Jennings. The problem was he didn't really know what to do with them and was intent on setting us up not to lose. The final straw was the Trophy final against North Ferriby when we threw away 2-0 lead - he subbed...

... but not scunthorpe. Maybe you looked at the national league site ready for when you lot decide to drop down here.

    National League Fixtures : 09/09/17

We managed to score 2 last week - and here was me predicting 1-nil's. As a result I am now going for a 2-1 win for Wrexham - James Gray (to do what all ex players do and score against us) getting the Torquay goal - Reid and Massanka( now he's broken his duck and got some confidence) for us.

    Sack Race - 2018/19

Gary Brabin is camped outside the deva as we speak. Instead of a shirt with home bargains across the front he is now dressing himself in Tesco carrier bags so that he looks the part.

    Sack Race - 2018/19

Who will be the new boss at Chester ? Step forward Mr Brabin - He will certainly apply. Maybe Stephen Burr will return.Mark Wright or perhaps Stephen Vaughan Jnr may want to fulfill his destiny and manage the club he once captained!!!!

Match Day National League Fixtures: 02.09.17

Since we went to Chester in Febraury and drew, (and that was only because Alabi threw himself on the floor and conned the ref into giving a pen) I think you can count on one hand the number of wins Chester have managed. They are at home on Saturday - I can't remember the last team they beat at...

2017/2018 National League Top Goalscorer Predictions

Oh good - just in time to return and score his customary goal against us.

Match Day National League Fixtures: 02.09.17

Yep in fairness...Chester are awful. As bad as we were last season, and though Chester fans were revelling in that- we still finished clear of them. Now they seem to be clinging to the hope that Guisley and Solihull are worse. When did Chester last win at the Deva?

Match Day National League Fixtures: 02.09.17

1st half not great. Ref gives Bromley pen for hand ball, that was set up by the Bromley player handling the ball just outside box. Good pen save by dibble which seemed to actually kick us up the bum. Much better 2nd half and 2 goals by massanka and thought wright and Wedgebury were good in the...

Bromley (H)-Win 1 -0 Torquay (A)- Lose 1-0 Hartlepool (H)-Win 1-0 Guiseley (H)-Win 1 -0 Tranmere (A)- Win 1 -0 Sutton (H)- Lose 1-0 We don't tend to draw at the moment (cue the inevitable 0-0 tomorrow now).Torquay long distance trip and totally out of form, so in Wrexham tradition we will...

Match Day National League Fixtures: 02.09.17

Expecting a tight affair at The Racecourse tomorrow. We seem quite good at the back, but don't look likely to score to many - hence the number of 1-0's we have already been involved in. That said will be happy to get our 3rd 1-0 win on the bounce, to keep momentum going.

    Stickied Transfer Rumours 2024/25

We have been linked with Bowman all summer (along with Cook and Rhead) - A lot I would imagine depends on what happens with Moult. That said Bowman has been playing for Motherwell - so in view of this are they likely to loan him out? If they do and he does go to you I would bet on him scorinh...

    Sack Race - 2018/19

In his first seasoin with us, until Christmas I was impressed with Mills. Then we lost 3 in a row over Christmas, and from that point on he seemed to go into meltdown. He broke up the entire team when all that was needed from a team which finished just outside the playoffs was a few additions...

Match Day Bank holiday Monday fixtures

Our defence looks solid - however goals again are a concern - especially when Reid goes back to Fleetwood. Been impressed with the Pearson/Manny partnership. Think we still need 2 players - creative mf and a striker.Good BH wkd tho,and quite happy if we continue to chalk up 1-0 wins.
