I expect it's Boden then by that response! He's apparently wanted to rejoin Macc several times but we haven't been able to afford his wages, so it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up at your place. It would be a good signing for you if he did.

Hahaha, what did he do?! He made a few clangers with us the first time he was with us, but was probably our 2nd best out of the 6 or 7 keepers we've had at this level since 2012.

Yes, he was in the same squad. Boden and Jennings were first choice for large parts of the season though and Holroyd was used off the bench a lot if I remember correctly. It took Boden quite a while to get going but when he did, he was eventually very good.

Reviews aren't good but I'll give him 15/20 games before making any judgement myself. I remember when Turnbull, Halls, Moke, Rowe, Holroyd, MBH, Dennis etc. were all shit or not deemed good enough by their previous teams' fans. They all turned out alright.

Also, it took until the 7th player in our squad to get a player who is then badly slagged off by their past team's fans. It's usually every one or two signings when you're a fan of Macclesfield Town. :bg:
