To add to the above, the most popular ground to visit was Southport with 138 on average, clearly boosted by Chesters visit which accounted for nearly half of the season total (1336/3176) and would be 84 otherwise, putting it level with boston in the lower half
Scarborough was consistently well...
NLN rough averages 22/23. League games only
I've put a median figure in brackets as the mean can be skewed by extreme values, so gives a good idea of a typical turnout
Chester 334 (245)
Darlington 245 (205)
Scarborough 206 (180)
Hereford 156 (100)
Kiddy 149 (80)
Boston 135 (84)
Kings lynn 106...
I saw some tweets if theirs questioning how home fans were able to get tickets
Brackley ought to have done collect at their club only. Think we did that for the york final last year as they all got first dibs before they sold any to us.
Although the short turnaround may have prevented that
In fairness about 900 went when we visited there in the trophy this year. There were only 100 of us and at the time it was their biggest or 2nd biggest crowd this season. Never seemed to be 900 when we went there in the NLN.
Oddly. I don't mind it. Them pig pens in the away end are a bit odd but...
Think the total crowd was 1800.... Redditch reckon about 1300.
Can tell villa were away as that is double Tamworths average home gate! Believe it is step 3 as Tamworth are promoted to NLN
Buxton did the same with us. 264 on the terrace (which seemed about right), but a small number of others were sat down. Steward told dad he counted 306 through the turnstiles. Probably happens at quite a few grounds when seats aren't allocated in the away section
A pity it took us best part of 30 games to look anything other than abysmal or we'd be up by now.
I'd lump on the two promoted sides going straight back down next season
Sadly we won't be able to keep Billy chadwick, virtually a cheat code at this level.
