Quite interested by this point as I must have missed it - what did Dean do to potentially get a second booking? I was trying to stifle an aneurysm for most of the second half as the referee had seemingly been hired to put me in the ground ;)
That ref... :ffs:
Wolves took their chances well and looked dangerous breaking. We only kicked into action once we fell 2-0 behind - no idea how the ref gave the free kick in Wolves' favour for the second goal - and should have had the chance to equalise from the spot. Never mind, just one of...
It's a double edged sword. It's a nice part of the country but a footballer's £5k a week in London doesn't go as far as it does in other regions. We've lost out in the past on players despite matching competing offers because it's expensive to live in London.
Also, I should add that this transfer has played out almost exactly as I predicted it would on this thread toward the end of May ;) I'm allowed to be smug about this as I'm on holiday and have been slightly drunk for three days running :)
We're able to spread the initial fee over the length os his contract as per FFP (not relating to the payment schedule to you guys) so our FFP parameters for this transfer work out at £300k per season. Pretty decent.
I imagine that around £1.5m of add ons would be on promotion to the EPL with...
It didn't go to tribunal and we negotiated the fee between the club's if I recall correctly.
We have four very ITK fans who regularly speak to the owner. Two of them have indicated that we let you have Mawson for zero up front and a 40% sell on. It matters little to you or us - as none of the...
We spent £20m last summer did we? Ha! Never heard that one before. We broke our transfer record by shelling put £2.1m on Bjelland, and we bought a couple of others around the £1m mark. About £5m spent in total and most of those spread across 3 and 4 year contracts.
£20m... :bl:
4-0 Wednesday would actually be kind on us at this stage. Saves, goal line clearances and misses have kept the score at 0-0. Can't see us getting anything from this game today.
That's what all the press have been saying, understandable really that I picked up on it... even you announced that you were linked to him a couple of days ago.
We got £4m in total for those to upon your promotion; £3m for Gray, £1m for Tarkowski - as you say, more to come if you guys stay up this season. Fingers crossed. Also got a nice 27.5% sell-on clause (of profit) on the Gray transfer. Burnley were kind enough to provide the financial support to...
Aren't Wolves in the process of bidding £3m-£3.5m for Mawson... who has less than five appearances above League One level.
Defenders, with age on their side, and who've got decent Championship experience are relatively expensive. Fuck, we got £6m for Tarkowski!
You're probably right... it's always best to make significant transfer decisions and investments in players based on their form over the last couple of games.
Given our strength in negotiating, how desperate and cashed up Hull are, I could actually see us getting north of £10m for Hogan. Is he worth that? Nope, but we don't want to lose him, don't desperately need the money and he has two years left on his contract, I think a combination of factors...
Not just 13 games. He's only played full 90 mins on a handful of occasions. His ratio isn't far off a goal every 30 mins during his time at Brentford.
That's not to day that Kodjia isn't worth a fuck load too, mind you. A lot of it depends on your recent negotiating performances when selling...
We've now netted £9.5m from the Andre Gray transfer, with more to come if Burnley stay up this season and when they sell him. We got £6m for Tarkowski too - we're pretty good on the ol' transfer negotiation front these days. Which is a nice change...
