We're linked with Otis Khan, aswell as Swindon.
Looked good in the odd bits i've seen of him, what's your opinion Yeovil fans? Heard anything your end?
Going back to Hardy, quite ironic how he was quite vocal about our early transfer dealings last summer, and how he & Nolan were much more patient than that & they would get better value for money later in the transfer window.
Fast forward 12 months...
Hemmings was rumoured to be on on £6k a week at Oxford, of which we were paying half last season. He'll be on a fair whack, and a decent transfer fee needed.
Fuck me, if Notts County sign Hemmings i'll chuck myself in the River Maun.
Great player in this league. Got everything you need for a striker at this level. His finishing can be a bit ropey, but he has everything else. Build up play is brilliant.
We should be signing him, he wanted to stay...
We were absolutely terrible throughout IMO. Didn't create any chances, apart from the goal (which was well worked). Got dominated in Midfield and completely let Lincoln boss the game. I'm actually thinking we didn't even deserve a point.
Is Dave Allen related to Keith Haslam? So many parallels it's untrue.
Sorry state of affairs for Chesterfield. Hope you get through it all. Whatever the rivalry, i would never want to see any team going under.
Flitcroft comes in as favourite out of nowhere. Can't see that, unless he's desperate to move back up north.
What do Swindon fans think of him? Bury always played decent football, but they never seemed keen. Swindon (in the game at Field Mill), played the best football i've seen this season...
That’s slightly unfair Stringy. Since Evans came in, a lot of players (Hamilton, Rose, Pearce to name 3) have improved a lot. Obviously doing something right with them on the training ground.
Richard Craniums post sums it up for me. I brought into it, what else could we do? It was something out of the norm from that shite we’d had for 20 years (Dearden aside).
Everyone can go back to liking us again now...
Not sure how that can be a debate. If you don't want to get in the play-offs as a lower league football fan, then there isn't much point in supporting a team really. It's one of the few games that genuinely have something riding on them.
Our two sub 3,000 attendances have been on Tuesday nights, which for some reason we always seem to struggle with.
We should be looking at a 5,000+ crowd vs Coventry, so that should keep the Lincoln fans happy.
