I've looked at the goals closely and whilst you have to put Gilkes at fault for the first goal I can't see how he can be at fault for the second. Also a great tackle won us the ball in midfield that led to the second.

Wins against Wigan and Scunny are decent I think and Blackburn scraped a late equaliser, I would also say Southend will rise up the table as well, can only beat what's in front of us

Thinking about our pre season prediction conversation I must admit I did not think Shrewsbury would be 17 points above Gills after 9 games. There is a long way to go yet.

Either way it is nice to be 3 points clear at the top and know we will still be in the top 2 regardless of Saturdays result. I am also hoping Walsall don't lose v Posh so that Whitney is still their manager for our away visit to Walsall in a few weeks time.

You may well, we will lose eventually, but if you do you will have to work for it. Tough win against Southend tonight who battled hard especially 2nd half with the wind against us. I know they have players out and they are better than the 6 points they currently have.
