I know you all will not agree, but there is no way Shrewsbury will be in a relegation battle this season. Be prepared to be surprised....top half finish!
Shrewsbury have enough this season certainly not to struggle, after watching the players beat Aston Villa yesterday in comparison to seeing Last seasons friendly v Hibs when I thought straight away we were in the sh1t!
Shrewsbury did this trip to the Algrave this season which is why I noticed quite a few clubs were doing the same. Could be that we see a pre season tournament on the Algarve in the future?
Shrewsbury 2-1 Aston Villa
John Terry played about 50 minutes.
We look a lot more solid on first impressions than last season, and went ahead with 2 second half goals with a Villa consolation from the penalty spot in the 93rd minute.

Give us a successful season in League One and I am sure we would be higher.
Jayson Leutwiler looks like he could be left in the cold at Shrewsbury, having signed Dean Henderson from Man Utd on a season loan and Walsall's No2 from last season.....could do worse?
Just made a note of this prediction
Gills 14th :fl:
As for Shrewsbury, I will wait until I have seen the new players first, but I think Hurst has made some shrewd signings so far.
That's us done for if Northampton have signed a striker from that successful world big hitting footballing nation of China....might as well write that match off then :eyes:
I expect to see Fleetwood have a tough 2017/18 season, as I suspect they might struggle to hold on to a few of their players who might still be Chamionship bound
