Put a bet on Le Pen last week. Think she'll comfortably get into the final round. How she fared in the final round, not so sure. I remember in 2002 there seemed to be a real groundswell of support to ensure her father didn't win. Wonder if that will happen again?

Not going home. Spending Christmas in UAE and having a boozy lunch with some fellow colleagues who can't make it back. Feeling fairly indifferent about it this year.
