Wahay we actually took a county cup game seriously for once & played a fairly strong team ending up with a 2-nil victory at Horley Town. Nice little ground there, they have one of those upstairs bars that overlook the pitch which is where I ended up watching the majority of the game from.

K's away to Horley Town in the Surrey Senior Cup tonight. This time of year is too jolly for my liking so I've decided to make the trip over there to level things out with depression from being steamrolled by a county league team in the middle of nowhere while contracting pneumonia.

I'm inclined to agree, in all fairness it was an underwhelming appointment to begin with although not unexpected given our current circumstances & with hindsight his bright start seems to have been more beginners luck than a sign of things to come. Heybridge seem to be the 'non league cup team'...

Well you could always see how Leigh Dynan is settling in over at the red half of Leatherhead (there's a terminology I never thought I'd say) :) Dorking Wanderers maybe? I find that club quite interesting with their incredible rise through the pyramid & the acquisition of Meadowbank.

2-0 up going in to the final 15ish minutes to lose 3-2 at Not Police with their last two coming from ex-K Tom Bird. The Dynan honeymoon period is over but hopefully he can pull us through our FA Trophy game with Ashford on Saturday!

Ashford Town (Middx) away if we survive our Tuesday night replay at Thurrock. Potentially easy tie but K's being K's I see it as more of a potential banana skin. At least it'll be easier to get too than Fetcham Grove :2thumb:
