Comfortable 3-1 win over Woking. I was fearing that we'd reached our limit going out of the FA Cup to a National League side a couple of weeks ago but looks like we can now add Woking to the list of higher ranked teams we've beaten this season.

Cup run over for K's after a 2-0 defeat against Fylde, ultimately the gap in divisions proved a bit too much for us & was much more evident than the previous round against Macclesfield's youth team. Was a good cup run while it lasted & has made a fair wedge of cash for the club.

In the Greater London area some teams even compete for the senior county cup in London AND in their historical county. We had a period of being in the London & Surrey cups. The league cups can be useful, if you are having a good season in the league/proper cups it's an opportunity to experiment...

We've avoided our game with Fylde being on the Friday, which for me is fantastic news as that is the wife's birthday. Now I just hope for it to stay Saturday 3pm & not be moved to Sunday for the BBC's show.

About £12k I think it was for Round 1. It was novel to see K's on TV & as I couldn't get to the game (because of the switch to the Sunday so it was bittersweet) I felt it worked well.
