Massive shame that, it's upsetting to see traditional non league clubs go like this & I can only assumed they don't have the backing for a phoenix club. If I were one of the top men at East Thurrock United right now I'd be weighing up the potential for some kind of merger/absorbing type of thing.

Finally played our Surrey Cup 2nd Round game with Leatherhead. We lost 2-0 but we are still going through as Leatherhead's goalkeeper turned out to be ineligible for the game. QF with Metropolitan Police coming up!

They've lost a few of their galacticos now so hopefully they are imploding. Still, nice of Leiston to join a very exclusive club of teams who have beaten Billericay in the league this year.

As much as "we hate Sutton etc etc" I do hope you win the FA Trophy if anything. You're one of the few examples of a traditional non league club run well & deserve the success that brings. Don't tell any other K's fan I said that because I'll be extradited from the club :blush:
