I prefer Rooney, from what i remember of Shearer anyway.
Rooney's great, it's just that sometimes he barely resembles a footballer, don't think i've ever seen a footballer with some much gap between his best and worst.
Some of them, maybe, but as a Lebanese i can assure you that the number of refugees here is almost 1/4 of the population. And we're not even counting the Syrians that are already here and the Palestinians that have been steadily coming here for the past 40 years.
There are ways to deal with a...
Didn't watch Everton much last season so i can't really comment, although Barkley looked very promising in his breakthrough season.
Coutinho has really improved since January last season, been adding more consistency to his game and he has improved the defensive aspect of his game, his fitness...
This, Jimboy.
Very pleased with the performance so far, the side looks so much better and i didn't think i'd see us play like that under Rodgers again. Just need to keep tight at the back for that second half as i'm sure Arsenal will improve.
I know it's the norm to say the underdog was screwed by the refs but surely their goal was a foul? He just climbed all over him! Our goal shouldn't have stood though, Coutinho was clearly interfering with play.
Happy with the points on the board but we really need to improve. Can't see us...
I think he struggles to re-invent teams, and whilst it's obviously too early to say he's failed this season, will be interesting to see how they end up faring come May.
I also do wonder if this siege mentality he instills does backfire at some stage. It happened at Chelsea in his first stint...
Jose doesn't really know how to do third seasons. Absolutely baffles me that he didn't add any new blood to a title winning team, they were always gonna struggle to match last year's motivation.
A win is all that matters on the first day especially against these guys after what they did to us 3 months ago.
The team looks devoid of ideas, but i'm not expecting anything else with Hendo and Milner in midfield. We're gonna be really, really boring to watch this year but at least i think...
Should be back in late August by the 3rd/4th game i think.
To answer your question, it all depends on how the season goes. He has to show signs of progress and a clear plan this season, as whatever we did in 13/14 was destroyed last year with Suarez leaving.
I wouldn't be happy with finishing...
Rafa is a very good manager, but to become a great one he will need to improve his bedside manners. Real is definitely the most challenging place in that respect.
