Charming as ever ^^
Was a great game this. Argentina deserved it as Colombia were awful, a shadow of last year's side.
Bewilders me how Argentina keep struggling for goals in international tournaments. 4 goals in 4 games so far and one or them was a penalty.
From what i've seen so far i think Arsenal will battle United for second place with Chelsea coming out on top again.
Get someone better than Giroud and they'll be a force to reckon with.
Yeah i mostly agree with that. Obviously he's taken advantage of playing with Suarez and Messi and plenty of those goals were put on a plate for him, but he has still shown some vast improvement compared to last season, especially with his finishing. I think people have a hard time seeing that...
Without getting into the leagues debate again, he also finished as top scorer in the CL. Scored against City, Psg, Bayern and Juve, as well as Atleti and Real. Can't be a coincidence surely?
Neymar is currently going through the "Is he good enough?" phase, one that every player that isn't evolving in England goes through it seems. I remember similar things being said about Messi in 08.
Neymar scored 40 goals this season, to put that into perspective, that's more than Messi when he...
Messi did ok, played a part in Barca's first two goals but otherwise he was very tightly marked.
This barca is not all about Messi, he's their main man but the supporting cast has been excellent all season long.
I agree with most of Smaticockle's posts. I predicted 5th with a push for 4th at the beginning of the season and we achieved neither.
What i'd really love to know is, what the hell happened in that meeting with Rodgers and FSG? What could he have said to convince them? How do you justify such...
Off the top of my head i don't think there's been 2 goals or more for both teams in a CL final since it started.
Barca will be too strong i reckon. Juve will need to score an early goal to make it tense because otherwise, i really don't see them stopping that front 3.
3 - 1 Barca with each...
They need a prick up front, a Suarez/Costa type and they will be more than able to challenge.
Question to Arsenal fans; obviously you're more satisfied than you were a couple of years ago, but do you see yourself challenging/winning the league next term? Are a few FA Cup wins enough?
Suarez is much better than Neymar, in fact he doing most of the hard work and Neymar ends up scoring a tap in :D
All 3 are great though, never thought they'd work so well together.
Funny thing is that Messi has scored about a gazillion similar goals throughout his career. We can't afford to take him for granted.
This Barca is really, really good. They will take some stopping next week.
