Small ground, a seated Main Stand on the clubhouse side, bit of covered terracing around the three other sides of the pitch but none of them full-length. Biggest bit is at one end where there is a reasonable terrace backing onto one of two clubhouses, the rest of the terracing is pretty much...
He was also very good for us in L1 for two years and got a good move to Ipswich off the back of it. Sounds like he's been up and down since then, but as a L2 number one keeper I doubt there will be many better than him if he were to sign for someone in this division. I'd happily have him back...
He'll do for me, not a name that has tried and failed 5 times at this level but still gets a gig as they were a decent ex-pro, he's had success at both this level and keeping a side in the league a level up, he played decent football in this league before and with an entire pre-season to get...
Delighted for Boston to get up - as I've said previously I get to watch them a fair bit thanks to job and reasonable locality. Having an additional 'Midlands friendly' National League club to get to now Kidderminster have gone is useful particularly if Solihull get up this afternoon. Does mean...
Our most successful seasons in the last 30 odd years have come with managers and teams not frightened to be bastards every now and then, as long as we win games I don't think that's a problem at all.
Main names in the frame at the moment appear to be Ainsworth, Mark Warburton and Mark Bonner.
Oh absolutely, but you try telling a fanbase that there's even a 1% chance that a former terrace favourite could come back and before you know it it'll be a 'done deal' on one of the 50,000 transfer specialist Twitter accounts that turn up in April and disappear before the end of August.
Of...
Macc with inevitably come up and be a nuisance at some point soon even if isn't going to be next season, might as well get them up and out the way sooner rather than later!
I'm a bit surprised he's gone despite everything, but if you're going to get rid of a manager then just after the final game of the season is probably the best time to do it.
After all the season has been a waste of time, to finish 12th is embarrassing all things considered and the only thing...
Brackley v Boston is a final between my two 'local' (other than Bishop's Stortford) NLN sides! Boston play better football but Brackley have been solid for years and probably just about deserve their time. Couldn't see them faring any better than Oxford City this year though if they were to go up.
I would have Donny as favourites, then MK, Crawley and Crewe.
But then again I'd probably have had Carlisle 4th favourites this time last year so it doesn't work that way.
Well we've ended Donny's winning run at least. Had pretty much the entirety of the 2nd half camped in their half but couldn't quite get the 3rd to complete the comeback, a couple of good saves and one off the line in the final minute. Good to see a bit of fight in the 2nd half, good luck to...
Ehmer penalised and booked for a handball that hit him firmly on the upper chest/shoulder. Free-kick to Donny in a similar position to our first goal, straight into the wall though. Donny player then waltzes into the area and goes down - it's either a penalty or a yellow for a dive but instead...
Donny keeper sent off for handball outside the area, first major decision that's gone our way. Ironically it came from a quick break from us following a Donny free-kick, which was given for Ethan Coleman winning the ball. Swings and roundabouts.
Free-kick 20 yards out.....GOAL.
You can see why they're doing it, they're a good side who should never have been in the lower echelons to begin with so you have to wonder what the hell was going on there for 30 games.
