Someone mentioned on the club forum that Reece Brown had already left the club, Thompson has gone back to Blackpool for treatment and his loan has been ended, but of course the club haven't confirmed this.
Who else has gone already?
I was hoping nobody had either remembered, or noticed, that comment...guess the answer was they did.
Should I avoid saying at the start of next season that my main wish is to avoid the triple drop...or would that be tempting fate?
Same with us, we won at Barrow and Crewe, were unlucky not to take all three points at home to a Wrexham side that equalised in time added on. We have probably taken as many points from teams in the top half of the table as the bottom, but the table doesn't lie, we have been inconsistent across...
Just for a bit of fun I thought I would engage in some outrageous plagiarism of the above post to show how we have performed in comparison to Stockport, who we have just passed like ships in the night.
100% agree. Our promotion to the Football League was absolutely brilliant, after having lost...
I will leave after the final fixture, might post a few comments when the game has finished or reflections on what has been such an interesting (dreadful) season, but certainly won't be around when people are starting to talk about their prospects for next season, who they have signed and all...
I don't normally bother responding to trolls but you have completely misrepresented what I originally posted, which was:
But do you know what really hacks me off about Dale, his assumption that everyone following the team has the same views and values as him...no we bloody well don't, Hamas are...
I will say just one thing, it might or might not make sense, to describe our club...a fish rots from the head!
I am a mixture of angry and sad at the moment...I just hope that our fans register their displeasure with what has happened at our last game of the season...though I don't for a moment...
45 minutes left for Grimsby to score at least a goal to keep us in the Football League...otherwise that rotund lady can sing her heart out for all she likes as we will be done!
I've been to Tamworth a couple of times, once for the game on the last day of the season where we were down with seconds to go in time added on until someone (possibly Eastbourne) scored and saved us...completing a bizarre set of results that meant both Tamworth and Rovers stayed up, when I...
I agree with taking the eye off the ball, but it is more than that, he is pushing an ethical and political agenda...beyond the eco stuff (the majority of which I agree with)...that is alienating fans, it doesn't seem that the football club features highly on his list of priorities. He regularly...
Cheers mate, whilst there is an element of our fanbase who hold Dale in an almost cult like status, buy into his every word, there are plenty who don't and wish he was nowhere near the club...that number may be increasing.
On the club forum it appears to have descended into fans attacking each...
I watched SC's post match interview, he looked absolutely destroyed...I can't remember ever seeing a manager like that after a game...at the moment I will be very surprised if he is still around next season and, despite having great respect for all he achieved as a player and manager, part of me...
I would keep SC if he wants to stay...unfortunately the problems at our club start and end with the deluded twat who owns us. If he keeps on doing things another way next season we will be on a short sharp trip to the National League South.
Agree totally with this, the only players that I would really want to keep are those you name as being attractive to others. My main worry is that our shambolic method of signing players has brought some in on long contracts without relegation release clauses...Fankaty Dabo on what is reputed...
True, but made it completely unsustainable unless it was taken over by someone with similarly deep pockets...not too many of those around...and has succeeded in alienating a significant chunk of our fans, as if we could afford to, by turning the club into a vehicle for his political views and...
