Our players will be on a high after beating Barrow, ironically our opponents on Saturday are Crawley...who were the last team we had beaten back in October. We are a long way from safety but if we can win another game it puts us within touching distance of getting out of the bottom two.
Now 9-2...makes me feel a lot better about Rovers only conceding four last Saturday...bizarrely Harrogate are one of the best sides I have seen this season!
I'm not the superstitious type but can remember my Nan telling me that if you say "white rabbits" on the first day of the month, before you say anything else, it will bring you luck for the rest of the month...now, I'm not saying whether I remember to do it every month, or whether I ever benefit...
I feel your pain!
Last season was bad, whenever we conceded a goal first I knew we would lose...this season feels worse, much worse, we will more than likely end our time in the Football League...will we ever return, who knows?
So have we...in case anyone hadn't noticed...we went from the National League to League One. Our new fad is recycling, with a return to the National League.
Our season ticket prices were the same this season as they were last season, in League One, I wonder if they will go down next season if (or when) we are relegated back to the National League...however, all things considered, I am paying £17 per game which I still reckon would be decent value a...
I would tend to agree, it might not even take that much, I reckon everyone from Bradford up is already safe...barring a complete implosion...Salford are almost there too. Grimsby, Doncaster and Colchester should be OK, unless they fade really badly...it is looking like ourselves and Sutton...
Great theory...we have won four games in the league all season, if we win three in a row even I will be writing to the league asking for them to investigate!
I like the sign bottom left...which presumably also has the words "here" on it...you would probably need both hands to hang on for dear life in that stand, it would be a waste (and dangerous) to use one of them to hold a pint!
Better to give points to teams that actually need them and aren't any threat to you...rather than one that you are fighting for a place in the play-offs against.
That timing suggests that the sacking of Deeney may have been planned for some time...ironically...perhaps his outburst after Salford set the wheels in motion, Harrogate merely sealed his fate. I sit not too far from the Ecotricity box, Dale was gone last Saturday well before the final whistle.
Vince's tactic seems to be to sack someone when the spotlight starts turning to him...he has done it several times now...I think he is fast running out of road. I can't speak for anyone other than myself, but I would be willing to see our club drop down a couple of divisions if it meant we...
