I said at the start of the season it can't get much worse than the last two years. Turns out it can get ALOT worst, and on the basis of the last two showings we'll be lucky to avoid another relegation battle.
Absolutely shambolic performance from us. At times I thought I'd travelled back in time to last season, Jennings misplacing every pass, players played out of position, no idea what formation we were playing and aimless balls hoofed up the field to no one. Are we beginning to see the Gary...
First game I've made it to this season. Good to see us take three points (seems like a long, long time since the last time that happened when I was in attendance), but a slightly frustrating night in terms of players playing out of position. Ihiekwe is not a full back, Liam Ridehalgh should be...
I've tried as best as I can to blank out any memory of the last two seasons! From what I can remember though he split opinions at his two previous clubs but some thought it was decent signing for League Two. He spent half his time here injured yet Micky Adams persisted to play him even though...
Unless he's massively upped his game I'd worry about Baggie potentially playing up front. Excellent at beating opposition players and running with the ball but shooting is definitely not his forte.
Is there anyone more tactically inept that Paul Buckle? Hopefully Brabin's learnt from his mistakes because I might top myself if I have to sit through another dreadful season.
Out of interest, what were the quality of Brabin's signings for Luton like? Was the general consensus as to why he failed his signings, his managerial ability or a mixture of both?
The Braintree game was just a one off, we've played 92 games over the last two seasons and been terrible in pretty much all of them.
I'm trying to keep an open mind but it wouldn't surprise me, despite the change in manager and most of the squad, if takes another season to shake off that...
The one thing I've learnt over the years of watching Tranmere is to expect the unexpected. All these people predicting promotion at the first attempt means we'll inevitable make an absolute mess of it!
If the last three seasons are anything to go by we'll have already sealed our place in next seasons Conference South whilst Grimsby celebrate promotion on our pitch!
Looked class at the start of his loan spell but went off the boil after photo of him with his cock out went viral on Twitter. Probably wasn't helped by an inept manager who played him on the wing either.
Few rumours flying about that we're getting £450k from Wigan for Max Power. Can't see it being anywhere near that amount but it would be a massive boost to our budget if it turns out to be true.
