Mentioned as one of three/four candidates. Martin Allen, Ronnie Moore and Cox also mentioned.
None of which really excite me - but I'm almost past caring now.
We've seemingly discovered a new level of crisis.
Good ploy by GI - become even shitter than before as the fans will stop going. Makes it an easier proposition for them to get the land, when the club sinks to irrelevant levels.
I'm done.
Didn't go today, and thank fuck. If I'd have witnessed that I'd have probably had an aneurism.
I've said it a lot but we somehow keep finding new lows. What's the fucking point anymore?
Absolutely no idea. We've just paid Nicholson half his year salary, and probably will pay Herrera off too. Seeing as GI don't appear to want to spend much, it's a bold choice if they do get someone like Cox in - could end up costing a six-figure sum.
Lots of talk this end. Not sure how I feel if it comes off to be honest. His style of football is utter shit and we haven't any money to chuck about. Unless, of course, GI open their purse now they are getting their own man in charge.
Still frustrated over Nicholson going to be honest.
100% glad I didn't talk myself into a weekend in the north east this weekend.
The Nicholson out bandwagon is rolling already. Think 3 games is a record.
Yeah. Seen highlights and looks like one of ours impeded Cole's vision and was offside. Frustrating as they're not always given. And yeah third goal we didn't protect Clarke from the aerial threat.
Again, frustrating but hey ho.
Fair - I was just curious as to why we had one and then the other for two similar size followings. Sounds like the portaloo situation was still a bit questionable though! :ffs:
Intrigued for Aldershot opinions on two apparent moments of controversy... our disallowed goal at 2-1 and then their third. Haven't seen any highlights yet but it seemed a fair delay before ours was chalked off.
Wasn't expecting much from these opening 3 games if I'm honest, would like to...
Couldn't make it last night but am disappointed I didn't having seen we were behind the goal. Confused by the Aldershot policy though.. a similar size following last season yet were on the open section?!
You've always been seen as tinpot in my eyes after you rested your first XI and lost to MK Dons on the last day of 2004/05, which saw us relegated from the heady heights of League One. Feels like a bloody lifetime away!!
Perhaps, some referees are a lot more lenient or less consistent than others. I had to smile reading your forum as it was suggested that we liked the referee because we'd had him five times last season. I can categorily state that we really don't enjoy his performances either!! I think that you...
Don't think either red card was unfair really. McNulty was daft, but it all boiled over after an awful two-footer by Buxton. Norwood was a clear elbow if you had the right angle. We were very close to having Lathrope sent off too. The ref was shit for both teams, and it's a shame he lost control...
