I think we got the two goals we deserved in the first half, and you didn't get the two goals you deserved in the second. I'm convinced that if you had got one goal, you would have got three, so I'm glad we managed somehow to keep it out. In the first half you relied on just lumping it up to...
What on earth were Chester thinking appointing Mark Maguire? Did no one raise questions about the fact that he led us into financial oblivion when we were a fan-owned club?!
Update on the incident at our game at Southport on Saturday: https://www.stockportcounty.com/incident-southport-fc/
Turns out the perpetrator wasn't a County fan. Anyone who turns up to Southport v County as a neutral must be tuned to the moon, irrespective of them attacking a substitute.
Today was small fry compared to Kidderminster. Whatever happened in this scuffle, it was over in less than a minute. The game barely stopped. At Kidderminster involved a section of fans. Today was just one wrong'un.
No idea who it was. Some are suggesting he was a neutral not a County fan...

I, for one, welcome our new egg-chasing overlords.
No, not really. This would set us back years. The view on our forum is that Sharks are just playing games with their current landlords. Apparently there's all sorts of problems about playing European games of they came back to EP.
Asking players to pay for hotels with their own money, justifying it by saying it's voluntary, and then blasting them in the media when they turn down the offer, strikes me as very unprofessional. Recruiting players from so far away that they can't be fully prepared for a game unless they stay...
I don't know about Stockport, but I've been in Manchester all day and its hailed for a bit this afternoon but nothing else. I think the game will go ahead just fine, though it will be bloody cold.
Edit: However, you may want to factor into account that I've obviously just gone and jinxed it.
Just warning you, if you don't blame all potential slip ups in Manchester City's quest for global domination on a global conspiracy orchestrated by a shadowy network of referees, The Media, and Fred the Red, Silkyman will out you as a CLOSET RAG.
