Some Torquay fans have been wrong on not swapping ends at times. There was also the flare throwing young yobs who turned up at Gloucester and embarrassed the club and its normal fans. They turned up last year at places like,e eastleigh and maidenhead. Never brave enough to try a Tranmere or...
I enjoyed the trip to Wealdstone and although we were comfortable winners Wealdstone were very disappointing considering their league position. No need for segregation either really , given a flat side terrace almost impossible to see how many we had and not a great view either, hence a quiet...
Yes someone said around 100 to 150. Unfortunately some didn't make it on the coach as that got cancelled Friday with coach company letting them down. With two drivers required no chance of getting anything then. Glad I wasn't booked...
Granted we have less mileage but a few trips too Essex, getting around London is always a pain. I wasn't expecting him you to take massive crowds but thought seeing you have twice been in the playoffs and in promotion spots and always play decent foootballmto watch.
From a torquay point of view travel wise egham would have been better but now just about the longest trip we could have. Fortunately I cannot do that weekend
Torquay had about 250 in a crowd of just over 600 at lymington for lunchtime kick off and live on the BBC online too. Not a great journey drivewise from down here to Southampton area.
Probably the years of dross hence the name !! Hungerford was probably the best fixture he could have had. A very comfortablewin and could have been more. He has certainly gone down well as manager
I was hoping he may have taken it but obviously everyone down here is delighted . Owners was clueless and had to go. Tomorrow's match at least will be a happy atmosphere with no flares or coffee thrown
Only what I heard on our local newspaper. I wasn't there today but spoke to some who were and shocked by mindless few. It's a great shame you have no home ground.
Torquay had nearly 400 at Gloucester (evesham). Appalling behaviour from some of them, throwing flares etc.
Just a mindless few but soon police may segregate us. Unfair on the vast majority who are good supporters. Even our manager got a hot coffee chucked at him at the end.
Another woeful performance from the gulls last night. Every game the opposition has passed us off the pitch and we haven't closed them down. Can see slough beating us too.
