Very good ball playing central midfielder, can also play out wide but is less effective. Has a decent range of passing and a good engine, will only flourish playing regularly in a better side - unfortunately for Grant he had to carry the rest of our midfield towards the end of last season. All...
If it hadn't been for Murphy we'd have conceded a record amount of goals that season. Christie - as Derby fans will testify to - was poor defensively and with Andy Webster and Jordan Clarke as the two starting centre halves, this was the main reason we conceded so many. You can't say he was...
Yeah hard to judge at this stage when you've still got players coming and going. Almost certainly worth giving a chance to, has a bit of pace, strong, good technically and looks a natural finisher. Obviously this was all against poor League One opposition, but still there is potential there.

Produces the odd moment of brilliance (League One standard brilliance that is), but he plays like he's constantly trying to avoid getting another leg break. Will be a non-league in 18 months tbh.
Lots of people on our forum wanting Bywater, I assume he's very much past it? Been throwing them in for you lot and Gills for the last couple of years yes?
I think 'lost the plot' in regards to his time at WBA is a bit much, still well respected there and at Boro for significantly reducing the wage bill and general mess left by Strachan. For me very much on a par with the likes of Grayson and Cotterill, who you could argue had to drop down to...
