Yep, absolutely nothing to do with the fact that not a single footballing personality, media personality or member of the public backed it, and nothing to do with the fact that they were threatened by all the footballing authorities - it was purely because some Eton oaf said he was unhappy about...
Looking at the non-league picture, Sutton would be welcome - a comparable club to ourselves, one of the only decent teams we faced last season and can't see us competing for the same players.
Notts County fans (not necessarily the ones on here) were a bunch of entitled pricks all last season...
You put one on ignore and another respawns in its place.
Isn't there a footy ladz banter group on Facebook that you thick fucks can use, and leave us proper fans to discuss the important issues like long throw-ins and Phil Brown's cravat?
He was the best player against us, and exactly the player we need in midfield - presumably Fleetwood will extend his contract? Normally I'd think we would stand a good chance of signing Fleetwood loanee, but David Dunn is now their assistant...
I'd have no problem with Port Vale fielding a weekend team, regardless of who I supported - five or six players desperate to impress and secure a contract are more likely to put in the effort than five or six who are already on the beach.
Both sides have had chances, and I reckon we probably edged it. Orient a bit of a mess at the back at times.
It's just good to feel like nothing's really riding on the result. It would be nice to make it mathematically safe so we can start playing a few fringe players.
I think Kay is a better player than he's shown this season, but his good performances have been extremely few and far between. Sometimes he's absolutely abysmal, and his inability to control himself also doesn't work in his favour. I'd probably keep (might be better under a new manager) but...
Brilliant performance from us - we played defensively, but never really felt too threatened by Exeter. Very strange that they took off their two best players at 1-0 down...
That's us safe, I'm sure.
Brough has been a man transformed since Jolley got sacked. From 4th or 5th choice centre back, he's made the left-wing role his own. Needs a new contract ASAP.
Good performance against Exeter who haven't done much at all but you get the feeling they could turn it up a notch for the second-half
She turned down Wimbledon saying it was an insult that it was considered a step up - I suspect it would've actually have been a drop in wages. Chelsea women's team spent more on transfers than most L1 and L2 teams last season, so she probably prefers getting paid a fortune for a very easy job...
