We won away to FC Basel 1-2 this afternoon, Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Rafa Mir and Diogo Jota with the goals. A good run around for us against opposition 2 weeks ahead of us in pre season.
Bit pointless making this thread, no Sunderland fans and the odd 1 or 2 Wolves fans. Anyway...
Got a feeling we will lose this one. Pressure is off and I think we're just waiting for the party now. Sunderland have Robbie Stockdale incharge for this one too.

Not a bad couple of weeks, won promotion, won the league, linked with World Class players for the summer transfer window... We've had worse. Laurie Dalrymple has said we could have sold 50,000 for this game, so the support is coming back. As for the game, there isn't much riding on it anymore...
Bolton will be hoping to get anything on the board to starve off relegation. We look unstoppable at the moment though, going to be a party in the Wolves end. Only need 1 point to be Champions.

Absolute party atmosphere this one. We can also put a big nail in Birmingham's rellygayshun coffin too. Earliest train to Wolves gets in at 11.15 so most of the drinking will be done post match.

2nd vs 1st, and the game many say that the winner takes the title. I'm confident of a win, or at least not losing. Nuno has learnt how to play against direct teams, so we wont be caught in the headlights like we were when we played them in August. Pray we have a decent referee as we've been on...
The siege mentality is working well at Wolves. Symbolized perfectly with Nuno running on the pitch, hugging and kissing our players after holding out the 12 men of Middlesbrough on Good Friday. He even refused to shake Pulis' hand, what a lad.
So we're missing Neves, Doherty, Jota and possibly...
11th April 1951.. the last time we won away to Middlesbrough.
I think this will be a game will one we will drop points in before now and the season. Along with Cardiff it's one of two where I think we could lose. They're hitting form at the right time, and we tend to struggle against teams that...
Copy + Pasting an interview from our owner Jeff Shi regarding FFP
FFP has been a hot topic since Fosun bought the club and began spending tens of millions on players, with this summer's pending purchasing of Diogo Jota to take their outlay to £67m. Shi told the Express & Star that the EFL rules...
We're 1/6 with some highstreet bookies to win this game, I doubt there has ever been such odds for a game in this division. It should be a routine win, but I'm sure Villa said that against QPR midweek. Luckily I don't think Nuno is the complacent type, and has managed to keep the team grounded...
Must win, not much else to say. Wish we would drop Ruddy, Batth and Bonatini. Also a half decent ref would be nice, although anything would be better than that fraud who officiated the Villa game.

Huge game this, absolutely huge. We win and I think we should go onto win the league without many problems. Villa win and we get sucked back into it, especially if Cardiff win. A draw would probably suit us more than Villa, but nobody wants a boring draw in a game like this. A downside is that...
We need to win this, and I think we will. The teams below us have cut our lead, and a couple of poor performances (I'm looking at you John Ruddy) has seen us drop points that we really shouldn't have. Neves is suspended for this as the Reading game was postponed.

7th home sell out of the season. Should be straightforward really. We need to win 8/16 games for 92 points (no team has ever had 92 points and not gone up automatically). This will be seen as one of the games where we should be getting one of those wins, although they did do us over at Loftus...
