Jon Brady the second favourite. I'm not sure why he left Northampton. Was it simply results?
If he were interested in the job, he'd be a great appointment, but like you suggest, I don't think Crawley is the ideal situation for managers at the moment.
I think that one of the qualities Scott...
My view is that he's a competent manager who's been given enough time. Given that he's had at least a normal amount of injury bad luck, maybe the competent is damning with faint praise.
To be fair, Kav sort of made the goal, but credit to Mellon for anticipating what Kav might do. Also from that angle you might try to pass it back into a crowded area or blast it. Great placement, but wouldn't have happened without Kav.
The problem with Bradford City is that we're not scoring enough, and that's going to bite us 0-0 in the arse at some point. Plus, despite their poor form, Salford are one of the better sides in the division.
Still, the pressure's on Salford, not us. A draw away would be an alright result for us...
So look, there's a coach called Mark Hughes, who's sometimes been spoken of as a potential EFL manager. It's unlikely to be him because he's only just gone to Bolton Wanderers as part of Steven Schumacher's team as Assistant Coach, (he's been one of Schumacher's main right hand men at a few...
I think it has to be Leam Richardson. Has a really good relationship with your club captain. Maybe even have Wyke as his assistant, if Richardson doesn't have his own guy. I'm not sure if Wyke is needed as a player. He couldn't really be on both sides. Maybe Wyke is the problem from a club...
MK fans, what is 'the Baldock incident'? (Sounds like he took off a black armband and sat on a seat designated for shirt of ex player George Baldock. )
I wasn't aware of this. Obviously his dismissal was surprising, and given what's followed, dumb, as was not immediately giving the job to Scott Lindsay.
Was it a personality clash with someone, or a disciplinary concern? (I'm being as vague as possible in the hope that will enable you to answer).
I think it's not just form. He'll take a while to get back to match sharpness having played so little; first with injuries, and then with Blackpool changing manager 2 matches in and him not fitting into the new 442.
Do Carlisle have time for him to come good? Of course, he may be good to go...
Jamie Raynor reporting that George Lapslie is on his way from Gillingham to us in the new year.
of course, both may on their way, but would be surprising if York sell one of their starters given they're battling for that top spot.
Charlie Adam seems to have issued a statement through the LMA website (usually your standard thank you to the fans and players) that's been deleted almost straight away. Probably just a typo that's being corrected, but makes me curious to see what it was.
(looks like it's about to reappear, but...
Graham Alexander is 33/1 for the Fleetwood job.
I'm firmly in the camp of not much point sacking him as it's unlikely Sparks would appoint someone better. but that would change if Fleetwood were prepared to pay compensation for him.
I know he's only there because he gained promotion with...
