That Rooney one was ridiculous, but unfortunately does not absolve Aguero. He should have been sent off anyway and we can't complain too much about him being suspended, but obviously it's a big shame he'll miss the derby.
For the game itself, the first half is the best football I've seen us...
I can't stand Sunderland. I've been desperate for them to get relegated for years and they just always somehow survive.
Totally outplayed today and get a penalty with 10 minutes to go. A totally undeserved 3 points coming their way :(
You people saying Pep "failed" in Germany are completely insane. It's just total idiocy. No other manager is judged on winning the CL every year, his crime is having been too good and too successful in the past causing everyone to judge him by completely outrageous standards. Even the best team...
I've no idea how these things are counted, but City's page:
http://mcfc.co.uk/News/Match-reports/2016/February/City-v-Leicester-City-6-February-PL
Shows attendance as 54,693.
Leewilson - It is by no means our title. I actually make Leicester pretty big favourites right now, because I think...
Kolarov isn't brilliant and has his bad days, but he's been the worst player on the park today. Can't do anything right. It was him who gave the free kick away right at the beginning too.
Commentators said it was a record attendance actually for us so will have also been a sellout. 55 odd thousand or whatever. Good analysis though - I doubt any other United fans will have been sharp enough to make such commentary :)
On the game itself, we've been a disaster and deserve to lose...
Leicesters style is something we are useless against, pressing everywhere and pace against our slow defence. Fortunately we looked better after the first 20 minutes so there's still hope we get something out of this.
A loss is a disaster though, given Leicester have such a quiet fixture list...
I think Mourinho absolutely will end up managing United, and unfortunately it will improve them a lot. As a personality, he also suits them absolutely perfectly.
He's hardly throwing stones from a glass house though Saltire. As we both know well, the current Manchester United squad and management team are all local lads being paid minimum wage, who stay on purely for the love of the club. There is no hypocrisy there whatsoever.
Not used to seeing us time wasting at the end like that, good stuff. Sunderland were the better side and we scored from the only shot on target I can remember.
It's happened to us here 4 times before in recent years so somehow feels like it is fair enough!
20 minutes left and I don't recall us having a shot this half ...
We are defending pretty well to be fair, but you just can't trust us to keep a clean sheet. Aiming to win 1-0 is a really dangerous strategy for us.
We've been outplayed this half, fortunate to be leading. We really do depend on Aguero more now than I think we've ever done, he was never going to miss once the ball got through to him.
