There was talk at the end of that season too as we were potentially looking at selling out places like Plymouth, last game of the season if we were close to getting in the play offs. As it happened Covid ended the season, the season after no one could attend, so it didn't get sorted. The...
To be honest, that's the first time I noticed that. There's a big debate going on at the moment around this topic. We've just released details of the player awards which used to be a night for supporters to attend and meet the players. It's over 50% corporate and VIPs now, with only 20 spaces...
This shows how you accumulate points, then as an example, for the Crewe game the club announced when tickets were to become available for fans based on how many points they have.
Absolutely. I had no chance of getting one, so no complaints from me re the points system. Those who go more often absolutely deserve priority. I haven't been to Crewe for years, they never get to general sale.
Not surprisingly we've sold out our poxy allocation for Crewe. Didn't reach season ticket holders, tickets were snapped up by regular away fans only (which is fair). Crewe trying to be shithouses on a wind up. Next time we play, no doubt it will be reciprocated.
Guessing we don't have many more fans with enough points to purchase yet given we average about 1k away. Be surprised if they don't sell out tomorrow or Thursday. Absolutely no chance they make general sale.
Still can't believe Crewe have restricted us this time. Recipe for disaster.
Obviously agree with this but it's not always the case. My old man wasn't into football, was in bands as a lad and never got into going Vale or Stoke, more into his music. Would go both every now and then but didn't support either. So my choice of club came from the simple fact I was intrigued...
I went my first Vale game around 86. There was an old Normid supermarket next to Vale (now Synectics). Mum n Dad always did the weekly shop on a Saturday. I saw people walking up to the ground with the big floodlights on, asked my Dad what was going on there. He jumped at the chance to get a few...
The injuries will be the negative from that run of games, but on the flip side you've taken advantage and won most of them. You've played 2 games more than us but given us a mountain to climb if we're to catch you, which it looks like you're out of sight now. I'd take the points over the games...
Haven't won a Saturday 12.30 match on Sky yet this season, so absolutely buzzing that Crewe and now Walsall are confirmed Saturday 12.30 matches. Think Sky and the PGMOL have got together to conspire against us ;-)
I think the benefit of them being on sale so early is if you win one or two of your next few games, tickets will probably be snapped up soon. You could then fall off a cliff and they'd have still sold out in advance.
The handball was clear cut, and the ref had a great view. Both arms to the side to block the ball, penalty all day long, but we just don't get penalties so not surprised in the slightest.
I thought you were going to get one but it was given offside so become irrelevant. Not sure what the other...
To clarify, we've won 3 by by 2 or more goals. Salford, Newport and Fleetwood. Not great still, but just correcting you.
We were poor 2nd half tonight, ran out of ideas but still created enough to win against a solid team that are good at frustrating and killing the game as a spectacle.
The...
Don't mind being totally disregarded. There was a podcast last night where the intro with Gabriel Sutton, he completely forgot to mention Vale, skipping us to talk about Crewe and Grimsby.
We're in great form, yet I've seen people saying we're going through a bad patch. Suits me
I wondered if these colours were from all competitions, with us losing against Wrexham in the piss pot? But then ours still doesn't work with the Swindon draw coming a few days after that loss.
