Sorry Gassy, been really busy. I hope you're well.
I didn't go but watched it on robins TV.
Thought we were a little better, than we have been lately, in the first half but back to abjectly shite in the 2nd.
If you went, I would be interested in your thoughts, if you can take those blue tinted...
Totally understood OR. It was always going to be a tough ask for you given the infrastructure you have at the moment but keep fighting, your luck might turn. I hope, for you guys, that it does.
For us, with the amount of money Johnson has spunked though, we should not be as pathetic as we are...
We're after Nkethia, again, plus a bloke called Youane Wissa from Lorient, €4M is the supposed fee. One of LJ's lieutenants, Jamie McAllister had a meet with him on Monday. Never heard of him TBH.
A few Prem clubs after Josh Brownhill by all accounts.
Out of the 2 clubs, I would say you've the best chance Nightmare. At least you've already had a look a couple of years ago so knew what to expect.
I actually feel sorry for teams that come up now that haven't had a taste of it. We came up at just the right time I think as it wasn't anywhere near...
We won't play like that against Brentford GG. We should but he'll bottle it I reckon.
Very happy to see Elliasson play like that at home, especially the tracking back bit, LJ can't drop him now. I was also genuinely amazed at Watkins performance. Where the fook has that been for the last 18...
Good post TFCH,
With all possible respect to him, and FWIW I actually think he has a point, those that come down have a gargantuan financial advantage in getting back up. That really isn't fair and makes the Prem pretty much a closed shop without a fairly large financial risk.
More of a point is...
No offence Hatters but you were dreadful today. I know we desperately needed a win and our confidence was very low but, if that was typical of your performances of late, you're going to do very well to stay up.
As I said, no offence meant and the best of luck for the rest of the season.
I read...
I'm sure I heard 1100 Hatters at the Gate today, over the tannoy, fair play to them.
Poor side away from home going by today but that's a decent number.
Yep. Deepdale, Craven cottage away plus Huddersfield at home were the exceptions, the rest have been poor. What's most frustrating is that we can clearly play but something is seriously wrong to be as poor as we've been lately, it really is garbage.
For 20 minutes yesterday, we started playing...
Spent some serious dollar in that time too GG, albeit money we've covered in sales.
As you say, it's been utter rubbish for some time now and we're facing yet another 'streaky' losing run!
Not good enough!
Point taken BM but the performances have been dreadful, even when we were in a good place in the league it wasn't good. Our Manager also has a track record of going on losing streaks. Time for a change.
Also a lesson in how to turn an absolutley superb £8M defender into a blancmange. The defending for Charlton's 2nd and 3rd was comically bad.
Absolute garbage Johnson. His after match interview blames everyone but himself, even the weather was at fault as our players don't like the cold...
