Please don't take anything you read on that forum seriously, I can imagine there's some equally embarrassing stuff on yours!
As for the game... a fixture we usually do well in, but we are properly gash at home currently, I'd certainly take a draw.
Draw has thrown up a weird situation in that our U18's will be playing their next fixture as the 'away' side at their own ground, this is due to Spurs youth teams using The Lamex as their base ground too. Should hopefully contribute towards a healthy crowd!
Bit arrogant that mate, hardly our fault Danny Hylton can't finish his dinner.
First half we were very poor, you adapted better to the windy conditions and played well, should've scored more. Second half was more even and I reckon we slightly shaded it as it went on, could've gone either way in...
Confident for this after an impressive pre-season was rounded off with a 4-1 win over MK Dons.
Should hopefully see Fox in at LB and have Hyde or Liburd fit to partner Godden up top, can see it ending either 1-0 or 2-0 to Boro.
Looked like a standard cynical yellow from where I was (admittedly quite far away) - looked like he just tripped him but by Yeovil's immediate surrounding of the referee there could have been something more in it possibly, hard to tell.
As for the game... Very dull, started at a decent tempo...
You seem a little annoyed mate, glad to know we still get under your skin.
Penalty was very soft, but don't hang a leg out in the box if you don't want to concede a penalty, simple!
Dissapointed it ended that way, thought we were unlucky not to win it really, shame we missed a number of great chances.
Oh well, still a 7 point gap back to York, and thank god we wont have to visit Sixfields next season, that ground has a bloody jinx over us.
Pressures eased a little now with the win in midweek to get something from this, can see it ending 1-1 in all honesty. As long as we don't concede in the 97th minute again I'll be happy! :ffs:
We were extremely poor yes, but you were just as hopeless for the first 40, numerous hoofs up front for Green, once you scored you seemed to settle down and play a bit better, but don't go thinking your world beaters just because you beat us, we are hopeless at the moment. :ffs:
The rubbish...
Who's told you that? We have a big lad up front but apart from that we're a load of midgets!
Haven't won away in 14 leagues games now I think, last away win was in April, can only see a Rovers win unfortunately! 2-1 Rovers.
