You celebrated the win at our place more than you did yesterday, nice to know the old boys club that we are, where most of us are all old and falling to bits are finally worthy of such celebrations bearing in mind we’ve achieved nothing in 100+ years :cool1:

Tight and cagey final settled by a free kick, the more experienced team then did the job and won the game. We had a ten minute period in the second half when we hit the bar twice and Jack Currie's shot had it not deflected would've probably gone in, but ultimately falling behind was too much...

We’ll hopefully be able to go with 4-2-3-1 but the fitness of Jack Currie will be key. We’ve managed to slump here despite fitness issues with our defenders. I can see set pieces being a big part because we’re weak at them, we only really have Beckles and Clare as big commanding defenders and...

Yeah I understand your thoughts with regards to coming down and staying down. In 2001 we only took 8k to Cardiff for a playoff final, compared to 28k to Wembley only 2 years earlier in 1999.

I’ve watched us lose our last 4 finals, my attitude is very much wake up, probably shit 4 times before leaving the house, eat breakfast, board the tube get there and just think here we go again. Whatever happens we will have a new team next season anyway.

We’ve done what we usually do and (somehow) reach the final. Olafe had the game at his mercy on 90mins as Omar Beckles really struggled by the end, we ran out of steam and slumped over the line, having said that, Wellens has us well drilled for pens, we beat Derby on pens earlier in the season...

Today will take a huge effort from our squad, we've had a few injuries in the last month despite winning 6 games which has meant we've had to change shape to a 3-4-1-2. On Saturday a better side in Stockport managed to find the holes in that, if we're lucky we can get Jack Currie to start so we...

    Play-Offs Thread

Thought it was a good game, Stockport edging the game overall. Wellens will likely revert back to a back 4 on Wednesday and bring Currie back in - we looked alot more settled when he did that today, was a tough call for him to make as we've looked good in a back 3 for a few weeks now. Fevir...

Stocks should have a bit more nous than us over the two games, a minor miracle we’ve made it this far. Need to still be in the game for the return on Wednesday. We usually get to the final and find some spectacular way of bottling it or not turning up. I still watch our 1-0 final loss in 1999...

Huddersfield we’re really poor at the back, caused some problems at times as they have some good players for this level, but they had no defensive structure out of possession and the likes of Kelman and Agyei with their pace and skill punished them. Fantastic achievement for us to finish 6th...

Even if we balls it up in our usual fashion, we’ve still had a very good season. Shame all of our best players will either be sold or returned to their parent clubs. We’re not really ready for the step up but we shall give it our best shot. Sold all our 2300 tickets, very impressive for us...

I thought it was quite a good game, we managed to forge the better chances in the second half after Wycombe dominated the first 15mins of the second half and Agyei and Williams managed to combine for the only goal. Saw Dodds got booed at the end by some of the Wycombe fans, they will need to do...

our takeover has now been confirmed. American Businessman David Gandler is the new majority shareholder of Leyton Orient. Current chairman Nigel Travis will stay on as club chairman and will still assume the day to day run ing of the club. This was expected to happen and Nigel is expected to...

Our game should be a good watch tomorrow as both sides have to win. I can see it being a tight game again, suprised Wycombe lost 4-0 at Charlton, although Norris did gift them one of the goals. Wycombe are the only side whom I’ve gone away from This season when they beat us 3-0 and thought...

We’ve won our last 4 and gone behind in all 4 games, the squad is more resilient than I thought it was tbh. We’ll likely start the team which started against Barnsley I’d have thought but Sean Clare will be in for Pratley. A draw doesn’t suit either side, (well it might suit us if Reading...

We really had to dig deep to win that, I actually thought Cambridge played well, tactically they setup as well as you could against a stronger opponent and made life tough for us. Too many times in the last two years we’ve lost games like that or drawn 0-0 because we struggle to find ways to...

Will be a tight game IMO, if it’s level near the end, other results will dictate what we do. We’ve started games poorly recently but have also come from behind to win our last 3 scoring 10 in the process. We MUST win this though as we have Wycombe next week which is shaping up to be a huge game.

There were 272 Orient at Burton a few weeks ago according to our programme. No Crawley figure but I’d say 1100 approx.
