A few rumours/ tweets flying about that Robbie Williams may be on the verge of announcing a gig at Vale Park.
Would be massive news if we have managed to pull it off and Vale take a percentage of the takings.
What is the thought process behind these european signings?
It sounds awfully similar to what went on at Vale park last season which was a complete disaster and we are still paying the price for that gamble with our football league status on the line this season.
A lot of our fanbase were...
He's been scouting him on Youtube like the majority of our other signings in the summer.
What he didn't realise was, the footage he saw on youtube wasn't real, it was from football manager about 20 years ago...
He's been through "Plan A", "B"..... "X", "Y" and "Z", now we are back to "Plan A"...
As was said on the previous page, what sort of genius comes up with the idea of.. we were knocked out after 90 minutes, so lets have a penalty shoot out anyway for an extra point, that makes absolutely no difference to the final table.
Glad we are out of it and hope 2 under 23 sides get to...
From our local paper today...
“We have had Charlie and Marc Muniesa with us in previous games and I have spoken to the gaffer again over the past few days and hopefully we will have a few more senior players within the group, which would be fantastic,” he said.
“We have spoken about Peter...
I'm quite looking forward to this season now.
Yes it's a huge gamble but we could of gone for the easy option, retained the same squad as last year and ended up mid table, we were never going to improve with that group of players.
We're going about business completely differently to what we've...
Cant remember the last time i was going into games so confident in our defence. Even on corners and free kicks we have no got the height and aerial ability to deal with them unlike previous seasons.
Looking forward to seeing Andoh, Ukpeazu and Moore linking up again as well.
We've had a big fence installed on the car park and around the away end to box fans in, think there was some "police intelligence" for this fixture last season which meant it was over policed. Anyway, we've gone one step further this time for the safety of the home fans with Doncaster in town...
Enoch Andoh, remember the name.
Ghanian who signed for us last season but not yet featured for the first team, on FC Porto's books a few years ago and he's 22. Going be a star this season, super talented even if hes only played against Newcastle town and alsager.
Congratulations and welcome to both Burton and Shrewsbury.
Another 2 local games for us and 2 decent away days.
Any chance of them being a Saturday though and not the usual Tuesday night?
Before the MK match on Saturday, I would of put this down as a nailed on home win.
After the performance on Saturday though, play anything like that and I think we will win this one. Just need take a few chances.
I wish our players went down occasionally. Ben Williamson went through 1 on 1 with the keeper on Saturday, could of easily get a toe to the ball before Foderingham got there and then would of been clattered resulting in a penalty... but no he bottled it and let Foderingham collect while jumping...
Already a post on the League 2 forum...

There was also discussion about that day’s Football League (FL) meeting which was understood to have authorised the FL executive to finalise proposals to allow Premier League ‘B’...
I'd put this up there with one of our biggest games of the season to date. Lose or draw and we can expect nothing better than mid table, win and we can keep ourselves up there with as good a chance as a lot of sides. Still think we will fall short but it's nice have a bit of something shout...
