We easily matched Norwich, and definitely deserved a point at least.
Two silly defensive errors cost us though.
I must say though, we are great fun to watch at the moment!
Away to Norwich on Wednesday.
We're on a roll at the moment and looking good - this game, and Burnley at the weekend, should give us a better idea of where our team is at the moment.
Bring it on!
After reading the Rivalry survey thread, I started thinking, if I could create my perfect 20 team league for Bristol City to be in, what would it be?
It's come out something like this;
Bristol City
Bristol Rovers
Swindon
Cardiff
Man Utd
Man City
Arsenal
Liverpool
Spurs
Leeds
Wolves
Chelsea...
I started to do the survey, but gave up as it appears to be geared to rivalry within the Championship, and whilst there is a certain amount of rivalry between ourselves and Cardiff, and to a lesser extent, Swansea, our real rivalry will always be Bristol Rovers.
Not that we're going to be...
All moving along nicely for us at the moment.
A cracking transfer window, in so far as we didn't lose anyone.
Unbeaten in 7 and playing some decent stuff too, with goals aplenty.
A tough month coming up though, playing away at the likes of Norwich and Burnley, so well have a much better idea...
First home game of the season tomorrow, and I can't wait!.
Sunderland bringing around 3k - fair play to them for such a long trip, and gate expected to be up to 25k, which for us is almost a full house, so should be a great atmosphere in the sun!
Decent performance last week but a...
My parents (they were grown ups by the way) always taught me that if you had to resort to swear words or insults, then you have lost the argument.
So like I said, "We wuz robbed"!
Looking at that, you would have thought it would have taken his leg out from under him, but instead he had time to take a picture of his tea, and send the picture by whatsapp to his mum before he went down.
First up for us, away to Hull.
We had a decent end to last season and have had a solid pre-season. A couple of decent looking signings, and more importantly, haven't lost any key players (although Semenyo is out injured until around September time.)
Looks like Hull have made a few additions...
Our 1st team certainly looks OK, and gives me optimism for the season ahead, but squad depth maybe a bit light.
All hinges on whether we can keep all our players IMO.
If we lose the likes of Semenyo and/or Scott, the season's prospects may start to look very different.
I must admit that the jury is definitely still out for me with regards to Pearson.
For most of his time here I just couldn't see anything to justify the hype. However, there are signs that he just might be starting to get things right, so time will tell.
Definitely needs to improve his...
A pretty fair review I think?
