It won't be plain sailing and doubt we will walk it. A lot of changes will be made with the big earners and the dead wood going and even the players the manager wants to keep will have their price. Even with the parachute payments we only spent £1.3 million this season so we won't be splashing...
The question is who would come to us. We're in the relegation zone have no money to spend and if we get a reasonable offer for anyone they will be sold and the manager probably won't get the proceeds to reinvest. We are a shambles.
Impressed by Hamilton this year. Ferrari and Red Bull (to a degree) have caught up and he has just got on with the job with very little fuss. Fantastic racing driver.
Good recovery from Vettel, fortunate with Raikkonens problem though.
Shame to see a driver of Alonso's calibre struggle, which all seems down to the engine. From what's being reported McLaren are looking for a way to ditch Honda and you can't really blame them.
Would love to see Monk come to Sunderland can't see it happening though. Derek McInnes seems to be favourite at the moment which seems more likely, but please not Karanka.
I will be very surprised if we stay up. A poor squad that's been hit by injuries and no money to strengthen. The little winning run filled me with some optimism but our last few games we have been awful.
