Well we lost on pens to Oldham after a 0-0 draw. Coleman is fuming in his interview with some of the player's fitness levels, going down with cramp etc after 70mins.
Interesting night of Oldham protests, with tennis balls, flares and fans invading the pitch!
Oldham away for us.
Not sure if there are going to be more protests or pitch invasions at Boundary Park like there was last Saturday.
We should win based on current form but I've watched us too long to be over confident about winning a match. In the season we got promoted we lost to Guiseley in...
It shows how light we are up front - apparently he's the best we have at set pieces :dk:
He was taking them against Salford in the tinpot last Tuesday. In the round before we had a penalty shootout away at Fleetwood and he took the first pen.
Only at Stanley!!!
Delighted with a point against...
We didn't lose in December and Coleman won manager of the month - but in January we've been diabolical - I've seen a number of our players arguing amongst themselves in the last couple of games and rumours of players wanting away - we're firmly in this still.
Delighted with another great home win today 4-1 v Pompey following the 7-1 win in our last home league game. We're starting to hit some form now and finding the net after going 5 games without a goal a few weeks back.
Away games at Doncaster and Blackpool coming up for us next
I went over to Prenton Park yesterday and I agree with what you say - we started brightly but lost our way in the second half. I thought your substitute keeper had a good game.
Bolton (again) next in the joke trophy then Portsmouth at home on Saturday - if we can win that then this will be seen...
A strange game is football - we hadn't scored in 5 and Bolton had won their previous 3 League games. A lot of people stood near me thought that when Bolton scored early on it could be 4-0 to them! The sending off seemed to kill them.
A great day and a much needed win - a break now because we're...
It was a good strike to be fair - just one of those days where we just couldn't score today.
Mr Evans seemed calmer than usual - is he mellowing??
Coventry away next - we've a decent record against them but we need to start taking some chances.
Delighted with a win v Ipswich today and against two ex players Jackson and Nsiala.
I'd be interested to see the penalty decision and the goal-line clearance again - looks like a few things may have gone our way but still a great performance overall.
The Billy Kee banner held up by Ipswich fans...
