Our rotten home form continues, defeat to Boreham Wood in a pretty garbage performance had some people raising questions and essentially makes tonight a proper must win to rectify the damage, Luke Armstrong signed yesterday and is awaiting FA clearance, knowing Pools' luck he won't be registered, we need to take the game to a team who have let in a shed load so far.

Don't really know what to make of Boreham Wood, poor start but a good result on Saturday. Ben Turner v Matt Rhead should be an interesting match up. Any kind of win would be a great result against a side who will probably be up there come May. Expect us to make a change or two, but continue with a 4-2-3-1.

Tough game, think they’re better than their league position suggests.

Rocka, only Dover and Barnet have failed to knock two (or more) past us this season and with doubts over the fitness over a couple of our centre halves I don't think you want to be joining that illustrious list. Culverhouse still hasn't found the right mix of the squad to compete at step 1, at steps 2 & 3 we always looked more than the sum of our parts but the reverse is now true this season, I still have faith he can find that blend but might mean changes to the squad too. Expect goals this evening.

They are, had them down as serious contenders pre season. Strong lineup for the level they have.

Well we don’t score any goals and are totally out of confidence. Not the end of the world yet but we simply must win tonight or I’ll be booing them off the pitch on Thursday when the stream finishes.

Another game, really had enough already. Seriously though if we can’t beat Weymouth what’s the point.

Like most games at this level it likes a difficult game for The U’s tonight against a Chesterfield side who look like they’re turning a corner new management. This means despite Saturdays dominant performance I’m not 100% confident we’ll be winning this.

A loss at Bromley tonight for us, fans angry at the style of play and lack of pace then picking apart our manager's post-match interview to find hidden meanings in his comments or mannerisms. Standard.

Yeah TonyM if you're thinking of buying the stream tonight be warned it's been a total disaster all season, they claim to of rectified the situation for tonight but maybe take it with a pinch of salt, some people were watching a fuzzy blob of a stream 15 minutes behind the action on Saturday.

Due to a complete lack of BH fans on here, and indeed in general, I have no idea really. I know they have Sorba Thomas, and Tsimanga, and obviously Rhead, but that’s it. Did they play well at Pools on Saturday, or were Pools just awful?

We are improving but by all accounts you are flying and it'll be a tough test. Denton generally doesn't play on plastic pitches which won't help if he is missing.

Think we will get beat personally.

Is your stream decent? Thinking of getting it instead of the CL if it's not filmed on a potato by a drunk like some of them have been

I’m pretty much going on them having made the play-offs last season and not having lost anyone (I don’t think anyway) of note. In terms of form and stuff it’s hard to know because, as you say, they have no fans. Rhead is always a handful, but that centre back pairing of Rawlinson and Turner can hold their own in the air.

We're shite at home but it was a typical Boreham Wood team, front three for them are always excellent and seem to carry the entire team.

Our stream can be a little patchy- generally it’s ok, however there is an odd use of zooming at times and sometimes the commentary can be a bit strange and annoying. It’s not world beating but it’s not 100% awful.

During halftime against Halifax SUFCTV showed highlights of our 2017 meeting against the Shayman at Gander Green Lane where Denton did score for Halifax. So he’s done it before on the 3G at Sutton.

The commentary is great, Ahmed has cult status up in Nottingham now.

Looking forward to the game tonight. Would take a point now. Hoping we go out all guns blazing and try and win the game though.

A good acid test for us but may have come to soon into Rowe's reign to make any judgment re. his style or the new recruits.

A big game for us, especially with Eastleigh being off on Saturday. If we play anything like the last two games, I can't see past a win. Don't think we will score another 5 goals, however. Can see this one being a tighter affair

It starts spitting and your home games are called off. At what point is your chairman going to spend some money and sort the drainage? It’s been going on for decades.

This is the ultimate jinx post.

I won’t be watching a stream for the first time this season when I’ve been free to watch. £12.50 takes the piss, especially from a club that now can welcome fans and got a huge, unfair chunk of the funding money.

From his pre-match comments your boss seems to think our physicality is our big strength, which is a strange take if he just watched the Bromley tape as they bullied us at times.

Just been confirmed we’re without Palmer and Stott again tonight which is a big blow. Despite our clean sheet we looked shaky at the back on Saturday.

Not going to disagree,
They've scrapped the ability of season ticket holders to watch the stream but I normally go to matches with someone that is at serious risk if they catch covid so can't yet go to games . My only option seems to be to pay for a season ticket and the streaming service, which I'm not going to do. They needed to allow an overlap for a while.

Boreham Woods have only played 10 games; most teams in the playoff zone have played 12 or 13 games. Nine points from the 3 games Boreham Woods have to make up would put the team in 3rd place.

Sonupe makes his first start for us tonight. 4 changes in all which isn't a surprise given the squad have had 1 day off in the last 14.
