Amazing season. Hold on to those we want to, add to a few spots and we will be right as rain. Normal service resumed. Luton are back. And were gonna stay

Those are the breaks… someone had to lose that last night and you couldn’t really split the two teams based on the 180 minutes of football.

Proud of LTFC - another summer of recruitment ahead… keep the group together and we go again for a fourth season at this level. Make no mistake, we get our 8 sidelined players back and we win that tie. By the end, they were running on empty and absolutely wrecked. Elijah came on in the last minute which really was a bad move as he wasn’t even 20% fit.

Disappointed at the end with the Huddersfield fans… Jordan Clark trying to take on about 1000 of them! The stewards not giving a shit about the Luton players as they tried to show their appreciation for the travelling support. Took the gloss off a pleasant and friendly football club who I wish all the best of luck in the final.

I think forest will win tonight - and will beat Huddersfield in the final. They look the best of the 4 and the most dangerous going forward. Should have been out of sight on Saturday against the blades.

I think tonight will be close unless Forest start fast. Forest have a fragile mentality if recent history is a guide. They have an overly expectant fan base and they might see this as a the chance in 20 years they have to take or else, after the recent bottle job a couple years back. If its tight and goes awry mid second half i feel the natives will get restless and will transfer to the players. I see Sheff Utd going thru.

I should put that post on the other forum and watch them all implode ;-)

I see your rationale - but the first game showed a gulf in class for me. They should have been out of sight. If they start like that again I can’t see the blades living with them. If it’s 0-0 or 0-1 then yes, it could get nervy.
Sheff united looked jittery and nervous at the back, Johnson got in behind them time and again.
I can only see a home win. I say 2-0.

Sheffield United learning the same lesson we did, have to take advantage when you have spells of dominance. Missed a great chance and now punished for it. Think forest will win this with some comfort now but they looked a bit nervy right up to the moment they weren’t

They were def restless. But that has changed the flow for sure. Sheff Utd needed to score first. Be very difficult now. Forest can play to their strengths take their time with no nerves.

Forest just not been an attacking threat this half, big players like Johnson, Surridge just not been in the game. Deserved equaliser on aggregate for Sheffield United. Set up very nicely now, Forest need to wake up again.

Wow. I called this one wrong for sure.
Only one winner at the moment - unless forest can clear their heads.
Could be a long night.

Its a bit like the game with Bournemouth, just weirdly placid in the second half.

Gibbs-White is some player as well.

Great entertainment, huge save from Samba to stop Gibbs-White in ET, they might regret that.

Fancy Forest for the shootout just because i rate Samba as the better keeper.

Forest got away with that a bit tonight, nowhere near where they needed to be, have to credit Samba though - quality keeper who got them through really. 2 huge saves and then the hero of the shootout.

Well done Forest.

Sheff United played well tonight but Samba out foxed them in the shoot out .

Forest really scraped through that didn’t they? After the first leg I just assumed they’d cruise through but Sheffield United we’re excellent and can feel hard done by.

Then that twat runs on the pitch to punch Billy Sharp. Ffs

Disgraceful action - will be caught and rightly punished .

Hopefully Forest win the final, can't see Huddersfield repeating this season's achievement, while Forest will be a force again under Cooper.

Agree.

Not at their best last night but clearly a very decent side.

Agree with the logic here but do think Corberan has something about him as a manager. I think they’ll be in and around the playoffs whilst he is there.

This it’s time to ban fans from entering the pitch. Too many drunk/coked up bellends who can’t control themselves about, could end very badly at this rate.

I know most would behave themselves but ideas like this might not help even if it’s trying to appease fans .

I might just be getting old but feels like behaviour of fans has really been on a downward trajectory this season. Especially going away I don’t think I’ve had a season where I’ve just felt flat out uncomfortable being around some people and their behaviour (including our fans in this here). Big big social issues bubbling away under the surface at the moment

Agreed. Even at non league we have seen many pitch invasions, York and Boston in the last week.
I’ve noticed more knobheads at our place too - away at Lincoln causing trouble and pissed up in the ground and in the city. Never saw that before.
Perhaps it’s a post lockdown release - or something more sinister.

Completely agree and there’s been similar comments on our forum. Seems that the break due to covid has just cooked up thousands of nob heads who don’t know how to behave.

I also hate blaming drugs or drink for things like this. While I’ve never been into the former, like most I’ve been very drunk before (including at games) and not once have I wanted to cause trouble. It must be in your nature in the first place in my opinion.

Think it’s in a lot of peoples natures to get a bit carried away at football adrenaline pumping and that. Some people are just c*** and will do anything they think they can get away with.

But you do make worse choices when you’re drunk and coke definitely makes you more euphoric/fired up so more likely to twat a random passer by then without it.

It’s still no excuse, but it doesn’t help.
