The play-off final will be an all-ticket and segregated game between Scarborough and Warrington.

600 allocation for Warrington fans.

Congratulations Marske United FC on their promotion to the NPL Premier after beating Stockton Town 2-1 in front of 1,500 in attendance.

Also promoted to the NPL Premier Division are champions Liversedge FC.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Watched it, a lot of fun in the 95th minute with Warrington having a corner and somehow heading over when looked easier to score.

Full circle now for Scarborough back At the level they were when going bust

I watched it too ( well, I zipped through some of it ) - and it was an enjoyable game. Could have easily been 2-2 at the end, or 3-1 as somehow the defender cleared it off the line with his head. Good to see Scarborough back. Ground is tidy but not big enough. Needs to be made bigger seen as the town has turned out in numbers to watch them in recent weeks.

On April 28th 2007 Scarborough FC played their last game at Step 2 before liquidating.

Today 2,805 fans saw Scarborough Athletic gain promotion back to that level.

there will be a few clubs like that coming through the NPL in the next few years - Macclesfield and Bury, then probably Scunthorpe (IF Scunny fans fears are right about what will happen to their club sooner or later)

Maybe more so Macclesfield coming through sooner rather than later. I've just read their going full-time on the NLN thread.

Watch out for FC Isle of Man in 2 or 3 year aswell - they had a crowd of 2151 for a NW Counties 1st Division Cup match (semi-final) yesterday.

Imagine they are like jersey and guernsey in that they have to subsidise travel for away teams, which comes out of their pocket.
