Getting rid of deadwood seemed to be a massive problem for Championship clubs this season, with lower league clubs not able to match wage contributions or having too many players themselves.

Most clubs will have senior players who won't make the final 25 I reckon, probably one of the main reasons we brought back a reserve team this year.

Wickham hasn't signed but is playing in a reserve game this week, I imagine he'll get a deal of sorts.

Predicted 25:

GK - Iversen, Rudd, Ripley
RB: Van Den Berg, Olosunde, Rafferty
CB: Bauer, Storey, Lindsay, Hughes
LB: Earl, Cunningham
CM: Whiteman, Ledson, McCann
AM: Johnson, Browne, Potts
W: Sinclair, Murphy, Barkhuizen
ST: Riis, Evans, Maguire, Wickham

U21: Lombard, Coulton, Leigh, O'Reilly, Baxter, Mawene, Walker, Rodwell-Grant

Not Included:

Izzy Brown - Ruptured achilles, unlikely to be available until Spring at least
Paul Huntington - Been given time away from the club, supposedly has a family illness
Josh Harrop - Really strange player, loads of talent but presume he doesn't put the effort in
Jamie Thomas - Imagine he's still not up to Championship fitness, reserve footy until Jan I think
Matt Hudson - Been 3rd/4th choice keeper for years and looks pretty crap

Can't say i'd be overly bothered but it'd be a bit of waste of the last 3 weeks on his part and we would be his last shot at getting a Championship move, or possibly any move at all.

I think any offer from us would depend on how bad Ched Evan's foot problem is.

No one really particularly interesting to miss out, more by virtue of the fact we couldnt shift some of them like Hylton and bring in someone to strengthen us. I love him as a player and for what he has given us but its pretty silly Hylton is still around let alone in the number 9 shirt. Id be very surprised if he plays any major role this season and still further if he breaks his championship goal duck.
