Away to Fleetwood, on paper an easier game than the last 2 but we’ve never beaten Fleetwood away. The best we have managed is two 0-0 score lines. The big questions for us are, will Richards be fit (early indications are that he will be), Has Bogle recovered from his bout of Covid sufficiently to make the bench, is Sims now fit to make the bench?
No idea what the lineup will be but expect a surprise from Darren. So can we win against make it 10 in a row?

We’re away at Posh but with their pitch and the frozen weather I can’t imagine this will go ahead. Certainly wouldn’t if it was a in Ipswich. We played fairly well on Saturday but we don’t beat decent teams. 1-1 at best.

Hull P-P Lincoln.

There's about a 1% chance of tomorrows game going ahead. Hull's pitch is knackered without adding the freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall into the mix (well, heavy snowfall in Lincoln anyway).

I suspect our home game at the weekend is already in doubt.

Er, nonsense. We have under pitch heating, I'm pretty sure we have never had a game called off because the pitch at the KC was unplayable. There have been a very small number called off because conditions were too dangerous for fans, which is no longer a problem.

Well it was a quagmire last week without any snow, and I very much doubt it will have got better.

If it goes ahead, this game is a big one. Win and we will be 6 points ahead of Hull with a game in hand. Lose and it will tighten up again at the top and hand the initiative to Donny, who are probably favourites for the title as it stands with their games in hand and the run they are on. Would be nice if Fleetwood can do us a favour and get a draw at least, but I'm not holding my breath.

Blackpool away.
Win it, and we could be off the bottom. And 2 points from safety.
Why did we not get Jimmy in earlier? So annoying.
Take a point right now in honesty from this.

We’ve never beaten them at their place and it won’t be the first time that we are favourites either so every chance they will do us again

Next two games are season defining. Wigan and Burton. We HAVE to score and HAVE to win, and I think anything less than 6 points really put us in the thick of it. I'm sure Wigan and Burton fan sare thinking the same thing.

Apparently it's 18 years ago today since we became the first visiting side to win there.
Rather lively after I seem to remember!
If it's on tomorrow take a draw, only Eyoma a doubt from those played on Friday

I'm not holding my breath either mate ! When your in a bad run, ( which every has at various times ) you just cannot see were that elusive victory will come from. Sure we all say, and hope, that the next match will see us break the winless streak. The incredible thing is it does but not always when you are expecting it

So tonight Fleetwood are playing the form team in this division and getting some great results. I struggle to remember the last time we scored a goal, the positive is we have a very sound defense. As for tonight's game hope springs eternal is what comes to mind............

Everything is certainly going for Doncaster currently, never seen a keeper save two penalties in a game against us before. We ran rings them at times, just couldn't bloody score!

No changes for us against Hull City who themselves make 3 changes.

Another game I am gutted not to be at, it would have been bedlam!

Us and Wigan combining for the worlds worst game of football. Both teams destined for the drop.

Was going to post this at half-time, but went to the shop. Have come on here to moan about it rather than watching the game because it is a terrible, terrible game.

Hull 0 - 0 Imps

Not the greatest of games but delighted to pick up a point. Both teams shooting was abysmal with us having the only shot on target. Jackson and Walsh defended superbly with the latter man of the match again. What a rolls royce of a defender.

We struggled with our attacking play although the few times it clicked we looked dangerous. Rogers went closest in the first half, he's going to be a player.

Losing Bridcutt whether it be through illness or injury? was a big blow after 25 mins but we re-grouped well and coped admirably. I really do hope he's not out for long as he's such a key player.

Good point picked up and another tough one at home to Accy on the weekend - weather dependent.

Not the most entertaining game for us and I was a bit disappointed with the point, but on reflection (and given the score at Fleetwood) I'm pretty happy overall.

Yup, the game was there as I didn't think Hull were all that and we do have that extra gear but just couldn't sustain it for long enough. I think losing Bridcutt had an affect as Grant didn't pick up those pockets to exploit. However, take a point away at Hull all day long especially if we back it up with a home victory at the weekend.

A new experience tonight, cheering on a Fleetwood side.
At least we didn't have to support a Joey Barton Fleetwood side. Means I'll only need a hot shower and can forego the bleach.

Yes, we were definitely knocked back from Bridcutt going off and didn't get back to normal until after half time, so that was 20 minutes lost. Defensively we were very solid and we probably looked the most threatening when we did get the ball into dangerous areas, but just wouldn't drop for us. Too many heavy touches and misplaced passes. Hull had possession but never really looked threatening.

These strange 'alliances ' that' come to the fore for certain games

This was a superb performance from Fleetwood, we out fought, at times out played, harried from start to to finish and the win was was thoroughly deserved. Jordan Rossiter was brilliant in the middle but the whole team were well up for it...and as for Danny Andrews goal, a left sided player took it on his right and smashed into the top corner. Gentlemen, I am a very happy guy tonight ( which is more than can be said for my wife who wondered what all the screaming was about ) the day I grow up watching football will be when I am old and knackered

We won at Bristol Rovers 2-0 to do the double over them in the League. Certainly the game won't win any prizes for entertainment as it was scrappy game. Rovers set up not to concede at the start and I wouldn't want to be watching that week in, week out, so kudos to the Rovers supporters persevering on iFollow!

Elliott Lee and Brandon Barker took their goals well.

A not very good Bristol Rovers side against a not very good yet clinical Oxford.

Probably deserved when you consider the clear cut chances, but otherwise a very scrappy game.

I think I said we never win at Fleetwood, even at 1-0 up you knew it was only a matter of time, well done Fleetwood they deserved the win, first time Darren’s had to have a long hard think before the next game

Oxford are still in a run of seemingly never ending run of playing bottom half sides (I know they played Donny last weekend) with Wigan next!
