Very sad news. He was absolutely bonkers at times. Stubborn, had his favourites and was firmly set in his ways. But he gave me the 2003/04 season. One of my favourite failures(!) supporting Swindon - Parkin, Mooney, Fallon, Howard et al.

The cigar smoke from the dugout shall always be remembered!

Been told about his style of play at Mansfield, very attacking minded and that sort of philosophy was what Mansfield were known for many years after.

Bloke on Stagsnet got a picture of him getting his cigar lit up by a fan, it's a fantastic picture and from what I have heard sums him up quite well!
